The graveyard. Arqus found himself running again. But this time, he was running away for his life. His blond hair glided with the chilly midnight air, as he made his way through the ocean of tombstones. There were also the mausoleum crypts. Despite their old, crumbling and ivy covered facade, they still gave Arqus a fright. Up ahead, he could see a forest of ancient looking trees. "I could hide there." He thought, his shoes sinking an inch from the muddy ground as he ran. It was hard to see the ground he was running on because of the thick mist that appeared to be everywhere in the graveyard. He kept looking over his shoulder as he ran. Checking if the figures who are following him are closing in. Frantic and scared shite, he failed to notice a small tomb head on the ground. Arqus, once again, tripped and crashed hard on the ground. As he was struggling to get up, two dark figures entered the rusty iron gates of the Animus graveyard. One of them was the bat like humanoid with red slits for eyes. And the other, was the beautiful dark winged angel called Myzrael...

Myzrael hung in the air, his breathing still shallow. He worried. He felt his energy ebbing.
'I cant last much longer. I need to remove this being then rest'.. He thought.
He nodded towards the Zealot summon, and pointed at the man who had tripped.
'Get him'.
The Zealot took flight, and rushed towards the prone form of the man on the ground.

Arqus got up and dashed for dear life when he saw the bat-like-humanoid take flight.
There were trees up ahead, but he figured he wouldnt be able to reach them in time. Still running, he scanned the graveyard for somewhere to hide.
He saw stone figures of angels and cherubs. Just like the tombstones, they were everywhere. He had an idea.
Arqus hid behind one of the figures. The angel statue was big enough for him.
He leaned against the cold statue, morbid thoughts running through his head.
"I'm gonna die here." He uttered to himself.
He looked at his hands and then touched his face. He was no longer made of solid glass.
He's human again.

The Zealot scanned the graveyard. The human had disappeared among the tombstones. He turned back to Myzrael, and then continued looking around.
Myzrael slowly descended, until his feet touched the ground. He could not participate in this fight. In his weakened state, who knows what could happen. He had to hide, and observe. This human escaped his clutches, and he wouldnt do so again. He would let his Zealot summon do the rest.
He walked over to a large willow tree, and hid himself in the shadows. He could see the entire graveyard from here. The gravestones and the graveyard angels were casting shadows everywhere. This human wont be easy to find. He lay on the soft grass, and closed his eyes. Zealot could do without his guidance, for now.
The Zealot kept searching, to no avail. The cluttered tombstones were being obstacles to his vision. His eyes closed into smaller slits, and he concentrated. He felt life energy, coming from behind what seemed to be a large angel statue. His black blades formed on his arms, and he flew slowly to the statue. His wing clipped a large stone cross, and it crashed to the ground and broke into fragments.

Arqus panicked after hearing something crash.
He turned around to see what just happened, again, he stumbled over something on the ground and he landed smack on his butt.
There, hovering a few feet in the air, infront of him, was the bat-monster with blades for arms. He was looking down at him like he was some sort of prey.
As Arqus gazed up to this frightening figure, he thought,
"This is it. I'm really gonna die..."

Myzrael twitched. Zealot had found him.
The Zealot gazed down at the face that was so fearful, so human.
So weak.
He raised his arms, and slashed, aiming at the throat of the human...

Still sitting on the ground, Arqus prepared himself as the dark figure charged towards him.
His eyes widened with fear.
"Do something." He thought. "Anything..."
Instinctively he raised one arm to shield himself. As if in slow motion, he saw how his right arm shimmered and transformed back into "glass."

The dark blade of the Zealot came down, and met the arm of the human. The slits of the Zealots eyes grew wide, as his blade was stopped by the crystalline arm of the human.
He dashed backward, and readied his arms with blades at his sides. He rushed forward again, this time thrusting both arms forward, in an attempt to impale his opponent.

Arqus watched in shock as the bat-figure retreated. He was even more surprised how his "glass" arm was able to counter the attack. Whatever it is, is stronger than he imagined.
Again, the bat figure charged and at his stance, Arqus knew it would take more than just a glass arm to protect him this time.
He got up from the ground. His skin shimmered, and in a split second he was all "glass" again. He reached up and grab hold of the enemy's blades with both of his crystal hands.

The Zealot saw his enemys maneuver, but plowed forward. His speed was that the human couldnt catch the blades, and he connected with the torso of the human.
The crystalline body of the human absorbed the brunt of the attack, but not the inertia. The Zealot pushed him a good 2 meters back, then flipped in the air above him and landed on his feet behind the human.

Arqus stood up and dusted himself.
A little freaked out that he wasn't able to feel a thing. He didn't sense pain at all.
"It must be this glass-form." He concluded.
At this glass-like state he noticed how his hearing and sight have heightened. He quickly turned around to face the beast behind him.
Arqus lashed out a punch at his opponents face. The blow sent the humanoid staggering backwards.
"That's for ruining my clothes." He bantered.
He charged forward, and landed another punch on the monster's face.

The Zealot took the first punch, then the next. He staggered backwards, and stopped near another tombstone. He flew into the air, and rushed at the ground Arqus was standing on. Just before the point of impact, he grabbed the right ankle of Arqus, and swung it over the Zealots head, performing a reverse somersault. In midair, he maneuvered both his feet onto the back of Arqus, and drove downward, crushing the human into the ground with superhuman force.
Myzrael smiled. He could see both of them fighting. What a splendid match. Zealot was having a workout.
Zealot backstepped, and watched Arqus. He was a good 4 feet into the ground, the impact crater swirling with dust. The humans crystalline form glinted in the moonlight.

He was again back on his feet after the assault from the bat-humanoid.
He threw several punches towards the enemy and connected with it's face, neck and shoulders.
With a solid, fist he smacked the monster at the side of it's head.

The Zealot saw there was apparently no damage to Arqus. He was not designed to feel, not programmed to doubt, not aware of the nature of defeat. He had only one directive; to protect his summoner.
He lashed out with his dual swords, the dark blades meeting Arqus' fists.

Even if Arqus was busy battling it out with this beast, he couldn't help but wonder what happened to the other creature.
He delivered a solid kick to the monster's guts and it sent him reeling backwards. It gave him enough time to quickly scan the graveyard. With his heightened senses, he was able to detect where the other being is.
The being with the long silver hair and dark wings stood far away from where they are, watching.
