Damn higher powers.
Myzrael did not like to be reminded he was still subject to powers beyond his. One moment he was in his crystal chamber and the next he was sitting front row center in this wretched theatre. it wasnt so much the fact he didnt know who did it, but for the reason why it happened eluded him.
This brought back memories. Of the initial encounter with Jace, that shadow being.. it all seemed so long ago, yet it was only in the span of what.. a few days? Time seemed so immaterial now.
Myzrael looked around the theatre. He had never really observed it was in quite good condition, considering the state of disrepair the rest of the city seemed to have succumbed to. The crimson drapes hung heavily over the stage, its cascading fabric nicely accentuated at the edges with gold embroidery. There was a lone piano at the right side of the stage, dust covering its black surface. The seats were of red velvet, with mahogany armrests. There was a 2nd floor, jutting out over the seats on the ground floor, about halfway through. The walls looked what used to be gleaming hardwood, but now it was dull, covered under layers of dirt and dust.
Myzrael stood up, and stretched his arms. He flicked a speck of dust off his shoulder, and leaned back, while putting both of his arms on his waist.
'Now what?' He said aloud.

His eyes fluttered open. He could feel something cold and hard pressed against the right side of his face. Realizing he was lying on his side, on the tiled floor, he sat up straight.
Arqus' eyes gazed around the room. It was dark but there was enough light for him to see that he was inside a bathroom.
"What happened?" He thought, eyebrows furrowed, eyes still lazy.
His eyes shot down to his lap, where he was holding his now crumpled journal. The pages were folded. He probably fell asleep holding it. The last thing he remembered, he was writing on his journal in one of the abandoned houses and now, he's here...in....a...bathroom.
He got up to his feet, kept his journal at the back pocket of 'is denim trousers and headed for the nearest exit. Arqus managed to catch his reflection on the bathroom mirror on his way out.
"I need a bath." He muttered to himself, looking at his ratty clothes.
He rubbed dirt off of his forehead and dusted his now dirty light blue hooded sweater. Walking outside the bathroom, he couldnt help but ask himself how he got there, or who took him there. He also remembered reading something about King Asgard. The ruler who could turn himself into indestructible crystal.
His thoughts were quickly disturbed by something up ahead. Someone's inside the building with him. Maybe he could tell him where he is.

Myzrael sensed someone behind him. He turned around, and turned his attention to a door near the back of the theatre. Thats where a being was. He stood there, staring.

As if on defense mode, Arqus entire body quickly shifted to diamond form in a shimmer upon seeing who the stranger was. It was the angel with the black wings again. He stood there, in the middle of the aisle, infront of the stage, looking at him directly.
Arqus brushed a few strands of his glistening diamond hair away from his face. His eyes were not playing tricks on him, it was really the Dark Angel...

'Oh, its you'. Myzrael said. His wings faded. 'I dont have any intention of fighting you here, right now' he said, almost lazily, his eyes not leaving the mans face.

"It" spoke to him. Arqus couldn't believe his eyes.
"Where did his wings go?" He thought, with eyes still fixed on the being.
Even if this being said he's not gonna fight with him, Arqus couldnt help but keep his guards up still. He thought that those bat-humanoid might be around, to attack him when he least expects it.
He tried to open his mouth to say something, but with a shakey voice all he managed to respond is a weak "Yeah..."

Myzrael smirked. Did he intimidate the poor fellow? He wasnt surprised. It wasnt weakness he heard in his voice though, no.. hesitation maybe. Fear of the unknown.
'Im Myzrael, diamond boy. And do you mind? I dont like talking to something that belongs at a jewellers shop' he said, as he absentmindedly flipped his hair a little.

"Diamond boy..." He told himself. "He's got a sense of humor. That's nice to know."
He needs to say something, something that would make him sound confident and not scared and....stuff.
"I'd love to. I mean, go 'human.'" Arqus' voice cracked. "But I remember you wanting me dead the last time."

'Oh were you talking about my little pet? He just wanted a workout.'
In Myzraels mind, he actually wondered if he COULD kill this man. All of his Zealot summons attacks did apparently no damage, it seemed. 'Everyone has a weakness', Myzrael thought. 'I just dont know his yet'.
'Do you have a name? Or shall i call you Tiffany'? He said derisively.

"Yes." Arqus replied abruptly.
Then he shook his head, "No, I mean Yes to your bat friend. Yes, I remember Batman from hell with his claws..." He said while doodling the bat-humanoid's claws in the air with a finger.
"My name's...." He started. "Arqus..."
"I think..."

'Arqus huh? Ok.'
Myzrael turned around. Which is probably something he shouldnt have done, considering the circumstances. Here was a person whom his summon could not damage. Yet he sensed no hostility. Only confusion.
He sat down. 'Sit with me, Arqus. Tell me your story.'

Arqus slowly moved forward, he doesnt know why, but this "Myzrael" made him. Like he sounded sincere, like he really wanted to sit and talk with him.
The last thing he imagined was meeting an angel, although eversince he got out of The Black Orchid, this "guy" is the only living person he bumped into. Arqus thought, maybe he could tell him where he is or how he got to this town.
"I wish I could..." Arqus said, cautiously moving forward.
Eyes still watching this creature, he sat next to him. His heart banging against his chest.
"But, I can't remember anything. I was hoping you could..."

Myzrael stared into Arqus' eyes. They were light blue. He smiled inwardly. 'Hes quite a goodlooking human' he thought.
'Seems were all in the same predicament. I also, am unsure why i was brought here.. While i know where i came from..' he pointed upwards ' I dont know why i was brought to this dreary city'.
'Your diamond form is unsettling. Kindly look more.. Human. Though clearly you are not.'

"Maybe because you're such an ass up there too, that's why you were sent here." Arqus thought to himself.
Although he was sitting next to Myzrael, Arqus was leaning as far away from him as possible. The fact that this guy wanted him dead a few nights before, made him cautious.
"No thank you." He replied, looking up at Myzrael. " I value my life."

Myzraels eyes flashed with anger. but he brushed it off. He laughed.
'Far be it from your understanding, what Heaven could ever be, mortal'. He said with a smile. 'I fell from grace long before they cast me out'.
