Jake smiled as she stared into his eyes, and struggled to rise to his feet. He had moral problems with what was going on. He had just killed about 20 men without even thinking about it. What was he becoming? It started with the mindless in the street, he cut it's head off with his katana, and now he killed 20 other leaving, sane, sentient human beings.

She blinked, and helped him up, unconsciously putting an arm around his waist to help him walk better. "Um...sure you can call me that, Jakie", she replied, staring off into space. "Would you like to go back to the apartment buildings? I can make you something to eat, and get a proper look at that wound."

Jake smiled slightly, although moved her arm off his waist. "That hurts, Emmy," he addressed. He shrugged his shoulders. "I would love to join you, Emmy, but right now we need to take care of this situation. There's a bunch of dead people, and there's a skyscraper that just blew up," Jake said, pointing to the now empty area of sky. "Maybe later, okay?" he said, smiling warmly.

Em's face hardened and she stepped aside, wrapping her arms around herself, not answering. She turned and looked at a soldier lying on the ground nearby, and scaned the area for any other soldiers walking about.
She moved to the wounded soldier and stood over him, scanning the area once more. She pulled out her gun and shot him through the head before turning and walking off, flipping her hair behind her.
She was just letting Jake know who was in charge, here.

Jake looked over at Eminor. "Emmy, they just commanded a cease-fire. You're lucky no one heard us," he whispered after painfully walking over to her. He had a hand over his entrance wound, and placed a firm hand on her shoulder. "We should stay with Johnny. He'll know what to do. If I hurt your feelings, I'm sorry. I'm in pain, and I have no idea what's going on. I wake up, and bloody planes are flying overhead with WWII soldiers jumping down and shooting at the residents, and then someone blew up those two skyscrapers."

"Well, you'd better man and up deal with it then", she said, shrugging his hand off of her shoulder, though she liked the contact. "All of us other residents deal with it. Do the same.", she ordered, trying to be firm.
"I'm not staying here for nothing", she added. "I'm going to go make myself a sandwich. If you want to come along, you can. I can fix your wound properly. Other than that, have fun dying here", she said, turning and starting to walk again.

Eminor definitely had some form of attitude. He liked that, she wasn't a push over. He followed after her slowly, looking back to Johnny once or twice in consideration. Finally, he decided to follow Eminor. He sped up, still ignoring the pain, and kept pace with her, smiling. "Did I make the right choice?" he then asked jokingly, nudging her playfully with a smile.

"You did. If you didn't follow me soon, I would have forced you to come along", she said with a small smile, peeking at him. "How's your abdomen coming?"

Jake gave a smile. "Considering you just patched it, it's stopped bleeding, but it's going to need more attention to heal properly. Properly needs to be cleaned and disinfected, but my medical knowledge isn't too wonderful. Judging by the quality of this field dressing, you're very learned in the arts of medicine," Jake said, his smile growing.

"I am, I was studying it a long time ago, before I ended up here. The only thing I can remember is my schoolwork.", she said, walking closer to him now. "Are you feeling any better?", she asked, trying not to sound too concerned.

Jake was sucked up in watching the chaos unfold. Bodies were being cleared away by the living, and once or twice he was given evil glares. He had killed men who had friends and family. He had killed men who had wives and children waiting for them with open arms. He even saw the dead bodies of women whom had dropped with the battalion. What had he been thinking? Why did he fire with women in the area?
What sort of animal had he become? He was thrown from this trance by Eminor speaking to him, and gave a weak, faint nod. "Yeah, I'm fine," he responded in a quiet whisper.

She frowned. Doesn't know what it means to kill, She thought, judging from the way he was at the time. "Don't worry. It isn't a big thing, not in Animus, anyway. You'll get used to the feeling", she said, looking at the sky.

At the crossroads outside of Animus City a low crackling sound could be heard, reminiscent of electricity. The sound slowly got louder, eventually becoming a high pitched screech that suddenly stopped, before reality itself seemed to split open. Directly in the center of the crossroads a small portal opened, and from it stepped three individuals. Two males and a female. Siblings.
"How do you suspect we got out?" The eldest of the three spoke, brushing off his clothes as he did so.
"I believe it had something to do with those planes. They breached the fabric of Animus, weakening it temporarily. It gave us enough time to leave our prison within the inner Animus." replied the other male, his voice holding a slight monotony about it.
"It doesn't matter how it happened," the girl spoke with enthusiasm. "Only that we're finally free."
The girl ran ahead of the other two, quickly followed by the younger male. The eldest of the siblings looked at the city ahead.
"Yes, we're finally home."
