"So Fiona, what leads you here?" Johnny asked, with a smile.

She shrugged, she wasn't one for small talk, or even any interaction with humans. "Not a clue," she replied.

Johnny raised his bottle of beer and said, "Welcome to the club!"

Fiona smiled a little at him. "Uh, thank you," she replied softly.

"Pull yourself a seat and join us," Johnny said to Fiona. "The last thing we should all be is alone."

Mona looked at Fiona suspiciously. She thought she noticed something...different about Fiona, there was something in her eyes, something about the way she moved that was different than an average human being. Mona thought of overlooking her suspicions for now, she was already accepted and Mona wasnt sure if she was right anyways. She might just be getting paranoid, she though with a laugh.

On his way to the hotel, Myzrael stopped in midair above what looked to be a bar. He sensed several beings inside, but couldnt fully detect who they were. He glided down and landed on the roof without a sound.
Myzrael closed his eyes and concentrated. At this range, he could pickup there were two humans, a werewolf, and a strange being who seemed vaguely familiar. He decided not to enter the fray just yet. 'Ive created more than enough commotion today' he thought. The werewolf would not be able to sense him here, perched on the roof, as angels had no discernable aroma.
He waited. And listened.

Veronica approached the bar. Looking up, she noticed something moving on the top of the bar. Whatever it was, she wasn't going to let it get to her.
Veronica pulled the handle of her purse to her shoulder and clutched it hard and walked into the bar.

Mona turned as the woman enetered the bar. She looked a little stressed out, but still beautiful. She looked priveledged, even though there wasnt anything in this world to spoil a person with. Mona was staring at the girl as she walked in and sat next to Johnny. When the woman looked up at her, Mona got a little afraid and looked away quickly.

Fiona shook her head and stepped back. Conversing with humans wasn't a good idea. She'd accepted who and what she was long ago, but she liked being alone, away from humans. Every time she thought about socializing with one, she remembered her betrayal, and that kept her from ending up doing the same thing to a human she'd befriended. "You don't want me to join you," she whispered. She shifted her gaze to Mona, then to Veronica. It was becoming crowded, she needed to leave.

Mona wasnt surprised when Fiona left. She was, however, curious. She decided to follow the girl for a while. Mona figured everyone would be here for at least another hour or two, trying to get to know each other, she could make acquiantances later. After Fiona walked out the door, Mona slid off the high barstool and slipped out the door. When she got onto the street, Fiona was already gone. Mona figured she needed some fresher air then that of the bar. As she walked around the dank streets, she slowly formed a map in her mind, noticing landmarks and street signs, just in case.

Veronica watched as the two girls left in a hurry. There was something about them she wanted to reach out to.
Now wasn't the time though.
Veronica turned her gaze at Johnny and said, "Hey."
Johnny smiled back at the sight of her and said "Hey," as he leaned in and kissed her on the cheek.
Veronica and Johnny looked at each other and smiled.
"How did you find your way here?" Johnny asked.
"I walked around for a bit." Veronica replied as she tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear.
Johnny placed the cigarette back between his lips. "Beside me's Trist and the two girls that just left were Mona and Fiona. This is nice, we're all becoming friends" Johnny chuckled as he exhaled a cloud of smoke.

Fiona wasn't sure where she was going. She sighed and kept moving. She's sensed the other woman trying to follow her, so she moved into the shadows to watch Mona, a frown on her lips.

After about half an hour Mona figured she should turn back so she didnt get lost. Even with landmarks and streetsigns going through her head, she could be forgetful. As she turned the corner onto the street with the bar, she could hear laughter....but no from the bar. It was behind her. She freaked out and ran off too afraid to look behind her. What am I THIKING??? she thought, furious at herself.

Myzrael saw the werewolf and a human girl leave the bar. He also saw the woman who fainted that Johnny was with enter.
'Silly humans'. he mouthed. 'They have to realize sometimes strength isnt in numbers.. Sometimes it just makes you a bigger target' He thought, a wry smile appearing on his face.
He looked up at the sky. It was a cloudy night, but he cleared up a patch of sky by concentrating a little. The winds pushed the clouds out of the way and he glimpsed the stars, twinkling softly at him.
There was a reason to all this, to this mad town. There was a bigger force here, more powerful than even he was, or any of the beings who found themselves here as well. He couldnt pinpoint who or what it was or what it was capable of. It was a gut feeling, and Myzrael knew to trust his intimately. His gaze turned earthwards once more, and saw the disappearing forms of the two women farther away on the ground.
'How sad' Myzrael thought, as he dropped to a sitting position on the roof. 'We are all here in the same predicament yet the rifts remain, possible bonds denied, and sooner or later we will be picked off one by one..' A unnatural shiver ran through Myzrael.
'Ugh. I HATE feeling human.'
He listened.
