Lain pouted, She was tired again and Daemon was comfortable. "Fine.." She grumbled and followed him lazily into the kitchen. Where she saw the Devil, Cocking her head at him she murmured "Odd." And hid behind Daemon. Up coming family?? Oh my gosh.. Ew She thought screwing up her face.

Daemon cocked his eyebrow as he watched the Devil bang constantly on the door telling DeAnne to open up. He guessed it was her private business. But eventually DeAnne opened the door, wrapped in a towel, "Daddy I am busy, but fine, if you have to talk to him you have to," DeAnne slammed the door behind her.
"My Father wants to talk to you, Ryker," DeAnne said as she plopped on the bed next to him.

Ryker quickly pulled on his pants and sat awkwardly on the bed. "Um Yeah?"

Lain watched bewildered, but bored.

The Devil went in smiling at the two of them, "congratulations you to, so when is the wedding?" He could not help but grin. "Ah, demon-kelpie grandchildren, something new in our family. So Ryker, when am I going to meet your family. When is my daughter going to meet your family?"
"Ryker, I'll be in the bathroom," DeAnne said kissing him on the cheek and on her way. _____________
"What do you want to do now Lain?" Daemon asked bored.

Ryker watched DeAnne's father in a bored fashion, he most likely wouldn't say anything that wiuld suprise him. "That's simple. I don't have a family. The closest thing i have to family is Lain, And both of you have already met her." Ryker informed the devil bluntly. He was tired and really couldn't be bothered putting up with her dad right at this moment. "Anything else?"
____
Lain smiled as she pushed her self up against Daemon. "Hey Daemon, Do i make you nervous?" She asked grinning.

"Nope, not at all," Daemon said smiling at her, she was such a cute thing. "Why don't we hang with Annie and Pony?" Daemon said making his way to DeAnne's room. ________
DeAnne was in her underwear, that was some experience, she thought to herself. She walked outside to see her Dad investigating Ryker and decided to intervene, "maybe its time that you left Daddy, well keep you informed. Bye, bye!"
"Fine, just because you requested," with that the Devil left.
DeAnne went to her bed and lay down, "what do we do now Ryker?" She asked rather bored.

Months have past and DeAnne has been dealing with her pregnancy with much care. Her Father still presses Ryker on the wedding since it is a tradition. But god knows when they will get married. Nonetheless, the Devil presses on.... And if ever they do, it would be some wedding.
DeAnne had discovered she was carrying twins, this made it most exciting and horrifying. This was her first time after all and was new at it. She smiled as she peered out the window rubbing her belly which have grown a few.
Daemon on the other hand had left a month ago, he had a vision and realization that he was not just him but could be someone else. Someone with greatness in his past, someone with connections to Hell, Heaven, and Purgatory.

Lain sipped at the Passion fruit flavored Margarita that Daemon had kindly taught her how to make before he left. She tapped the window in a sad pattern. He'd been gone a month and she'd missed him every minute, which even she admitted was a bit pathetic. Sighing, she drained the last of the sweet liquid and placed the glass on the window sill. DeAnne Was well and truly pregnant, with twins. This thought made her smile, She was going to be an auntie. In a way. She stared lamely at the floor, she was plunging into one of her moods. Ryker would have a go at her if she didn't try and keep up beat. "Your bad moods bring everyone down Lain, If you're going to be selfish go for a walk or something because it's not fair on DeAnne and the babies." That's what he said to her last time. To say it hurt her, Well, that would be an understatement. She wasn't used to being treated like that, especially by Ryker. The whole change in his behavior toward her had caused her to close up, like a clam. She didn't talk much and mostly kept to herself. She found it was the easiest way to deal with things without getting in their way. Both Ryker and DeAnne were both too stressed to deal with her "Pity me" Antics, Which she could understand. But didn't like to. She found herself in Daemon's room, she must have walked here subconsciously. She had been doing that a lot lately, which made Ryker even more angry at her. "Get over it Lain! He needed to find himself. Stop being such an obsessive selfish brat! If he really cared for you he would of asked you to go with him." Lain took Ryker's words seriously. Why else would he say that to her. She knew that she was the only one he could lash out at now, when he was stressed. She owed it to him to let him, didn't she? Lain ran her fingers over the wooden desk that Daemon used to put all his drawings. Flashes of pictures and memories attached raced through her mind. She had gone through a lot with him, Just like Ryker. Yet both had left her. One way or another. Lain rested her head against the wall. She had three choices. 1. Cheer up and go visit Ryker and DeAnne. 2. Leave. or 3. Continue to hide. The last option was sounding the best. There was no where to go to anyway..
__
Ryker walked over to DeAnne smiling. She was glowing, with pregnant radiance, She was utterly beautiful. He stroked her hair gently, kissing the top of her head than gently rubbing her shoulders. He was frightened. He was going to be a dad soon. It was going to be him, DeAnnne and the two little ones. He was still shocked that they were having twins, it was perfect. IT had been much quieter since Daemon left, All lain did was mope around the house. Why couldn't she be happy for him and DeAnne? She was always so selfish. All she cared about was herself and Ryker had no trouble informing her about this. He couldn't stand it. He was already stressed enough, he didn't need a selfish brat using up what was left of his energy. Just thinking about her made him furious. Taking a deep breath he calmed himself. He needed to be in good spirits when he was around DeAnne or it affected her and the unborn children. "How are you doing?" He asked gently.

"I am fine, I am craving some champagne though," DeAnne said smiling at him, "I wish Daemon was here to whip me up some of his frozen margaritas. I miss him, Lain should really understand that Daem is pretty lost and needs this time. I mean I remember the night he told me that he was leaving. He seemed to be in a rush, his eyes were a different color, he was different. He knew something we don't," she took a deep breath then turned around to face Ryker, "and as for you, understand Lain. I admit its frustrating, that you are so harsh on her. I know you care about me and her and the babies.... I know its intense. Please Ryker, understand what she is going through: our relationship has been tough on her and she doesn't understand what Daemon is going through. I--" DeAnne cringed, she felt a spasm. The kids were kicking. "Please, I hate it when I see her morose, it brings me in a down mood. And remember, you are connected to her and I am connected to you. I sense some things she feels," DeAnne stood up and went outside, "I am going to have that glass of champagne, like it or not," she teased.
____________
Daemon was at the outskirts of Animus, he had learnt many things about himself, he realized that Leon was not just fragments of inconsistent visions, but was part of him. Who he was, Leon was his past and possibly his future. He knew Leon and the Winged Warrior where connected but how? That he was trying to find out. He was trying to figure out how Leon thought, everything he could for finding more about Leon would make him discover who he is...and was.
At the beginning of the trip, he decided on going alone. It was a trip of self-discovery, company would just disrupt his thoughts. If ever he would have brought Lain, it would be hard for her especially with Ryker busy with DeAnne. He was going to be a father after all.

"Well that's what I've been trying to tell her! But all she does is stare back at me with those empty eyes of hers. It's like we're living in a house with a ghost. But how can i understand her? All she is, is a depressed, obsessed mess! She doesn't even speak to me, sometimes i doubt if she even hears me! But fine, For you I'll try and be civil.." Ryker let out a frustrated sigh. "You know it's not good to drink when you're pregnant.." He grumbled following her out. He felt bad for DeAnne, she wasn't meant to do anything when she was pregnant. Just sit and sleep and eat. Ryker could understand why she would want a drink, it must be so boring! And surely one drink wouldn't hurt. "Are you hungry or anything?" Ryker asked, digging through the cupboards for something to eat. That was one of the main things he missed about Daemon, He was a damn good cook. Unfortunately, Ryker wasn't. He normally went for the Raw, Blood and guts approach.
______
Lain was hungry, but she could sense that Ryker was in the kitchen. She really didn't have the energy to deal with one of his outbursts. Opening her eyes, this time she found herself back in her room. Gazing at the window she walked over to it and pushed it open, sliding out and landing silently on the ground. The slightly damp grass tickling her toes. Lain stared down the road, no people. As per usual. She began to walk slowly toward the grocery store, the first one she'd been into when she got to Animus. Lain had grown quite used to human food, she tried to avoid the over processed ones and the ones that reeked of chemicals, Those ones always made her feel sick. In no time she found herself standing outside the front of the store. It still scared her how she zoned in and out of reality. One day she would probably end up finding herself lost, not remembering how she got there. That would be just her luck. Lain drifted through the store, gazing at the isles filled with human sweets, jarred preservatives, frozen vegetables, the strange white liquid that came from cows. The label informed her that "The strange white liquid" Was actually called milk. She smiled to herself as she thought about what a ridiculous name "Milk" was for a liquid. Spying the produce section she trotted over. She ran her fingers over the apples, trying to find a crisp one. Failing that, she looked over at the mango's and picked one that smelt delicious, took a loaf of bread and a bottle of milk. She was ready for her makeshift picnic. Now all she needed was somewhere to go.. What was her favorite place in Animus? Where had a lot of memories been made.. Both good and bad... Nodding she made her way over to the Lake...

DeAnne shook her head, "I am not hungry but they are," she said rubbing her belly, "I never hungry at my age, Hell supplies my energy source, it is a little complicated. And, Maybe I should go talk to Lain, hmm... and Ryker, please don't carry that tone with me, we all mean well and we are supposed to be supporting each other here, and try another approach," DeAnne said making her way to her room, "I am going to find her and talk to her, as for you, there are cook books on the shelf, follow the instructions."
She was in her room and looked through her clothes, it was frustrating that none of them fit her figure considering two little ones have boarded her ship. She could not help but roll her eyes in vexation, she needed new clothes.
She looked at herself in the mirror, realized she had gone a long way in Animus. Babies were the last thing she would expect from this, she came to Animus looking for refuge away from her Father, though her Father found her eventually with other plans in mind (that did not involve her to die). Then, there was Ryker, he was different when they first met, rather cold and distant but as everyone started to know each other, it was better. Same with Daemon, she knew nothing about him, now she remembers him and is thankful. Though, everyone had gone a long way with each other, there were still things people did not know about her. All they are now witnessing is her sweet, delicate and deceiving side, they have yet to meet her other and she will release when have to.
DeAnne changed to her clothes that fit her and was off to the kitchen, "Ryker, I am going now, see you in a bit, also will get new clothes."
DeAnne went to the lake, that was typically where she would think to find Lain, she was right. "Lain?! Hey, its DeAnne, mind if we talk?" She shouted.
Near by the lake, Daemon was resting, he decided that he should check the lake out, maybe he'd have another revelations. They would appear sporadically. He knew he needed to go the areas in Animus where the Winged Warrior's symbol carved somewhere and his intuition told him that he would find something in the lake.
Daemon stood up and walked, he was almost there, and when he arrived he saw DeAnne, Lain could possibly be there. He decide to stay.
"Hey Annie, surprise, surprise! Hows the kids going?" Daemon asked as he scanned the area quickly.
"DAEMON!? Its so nice to see you, I miss your cooking! I love Ryker but he sucks at making dishes, I miss your margarita and the pregnancy is going fine. When are you coming back?" DeAnne had to ask.
"I don't know really," Daemon said as he sat on a rock near them, "Is Lain here?"
"I think so," DeAnne said smiling at him, "Lain? Daemon is here!"

Ryker sighed. Lain might as well be a mystery to the others, she was so much more complex than she let on. She came across as a over excited little girl with abandonment issues, but deep down she thought a lot, was always aware of the little things but liked to keep to herself when it came to thinking. She liked people to underestimate her, and everyone did it. But lately she'd been acting strangely, ever since she'd been put in a new body it was like she was constantly PMSing. He missed being so close to her but it felt as if it was impossible now. She was so distant and thoughtful, she still hadn't really discovered who she was. Maybe that was what was wrong..
_______
Lain's pure white dress clung tightly to her small figure, due to all the water from the bushes she had walked through. Lain climbed up a tree with her small picnic, picking a secure branch she sat down and balanced her items on another. Lain nibbled absentmindedly on the loaf of bread. Her ears twitched. "Lain?! Hey, its DeAnne, mind if we talk?" Lain smiled, maybe it was a good idea if she socialized. Just as she was about to climb out of the tree she heard another voice. "Hey Annie, surprise, surprise! Hows the kids going?" Lain's back stiffened as she drew in a sharp breath. Daemon was there.. She couldn't move, her body wouldn't listen to her. Lain bit her lip, She wasn't going to let her body control her. She wriggled awkwardly out of the tree, cursing as her dress got caught and ripped. Following the sound of their voices, she padded over to them, glaring at the tear in her dress.

Daemon grinned at the sight of Lain and ran toward her, embracing her and lifting her up then back down. "Hey kitten, how'd yea' been? I missed you a lot, sorry I could not take you, I wanted to but its a journey for myself," his eyes glowed a brighter gold, after meandering around animus, secluded, company was a great change.
DeAnne smiled, "Daemon, please come home and cook me something good, we miss you lots, we'll I do."
Daemon turned to look at DeAnne, "sure, I cannot stay long though, but maybe a night won't hurt. Lain, why don't I give you a piggy ride back home?"

Lain smiled slightly as she was lifted into the air, it was almost like flying. As her feet touched the soft ground, she looked back up at Daemon. "I'm fine.." She replied, no emotion in her voice. It felt as if none of this was real, Seconds ago she was by herself, Now Daemon was here. But, He was just going to leave again, why was he tormenting her with this brief visit, should would just have to start again. From scratch. "I miss you the most.." She mouthed, making sure neither of them saw it. A cool breeze lifted her hair, tangling it around Daemon's arms. "Sure." She climbed up his back. She felt pathetic and childish doing this but it meant she was closer to Daemon.
