Bremmen saw everything from above. He was impressed with the Red General. He didn't think he would last a minute with the residents, but he did.
He was kicking major ass.
"Don't try anything funny Syl..." The demon thought. "Or I'll have to step in to even things out."

The maze slammed into one of his ribs. He groaned in pain. She was fast. Luckily he was able to jump away before another attack came his way. He was managed to put a good distance between him and the girl.
"Damn you." He growled, touching the area where he got hit.
His mechanical arm changed form again, this time it was something that looked like a harpoon. He shot the harpoon towards the girl, he missed, and it ended hitting the wall behind her.

"YOU ARE SUCH AN IDOT! WE ARE IN FUCKING ANIMUS NOT EARTH, IT IS LITERAL---NEVER ASSUME BECAUSE IT WILL MAKE AN ASS OUT OF YOU!" Daemon shouted as he landed behind him. He knew he would probably not persuade this narrow mind. He tried anyway, guess it was time to use force, he needed this guy to listen for once.
Ahead of him he had seen two figures he recognized: Klaire and Syl. They were his friends and he did not want to loose them. He swiftly ran near in front of the general. I am not going to let you go until you listen," said as he pulled his wings out in place and was ready to attack.
He sent a message to Syl, "Syl, take Klaire and run, I don't give a damn if I fall, at least I fall gracefully."

Syl smiled and grinned.
"Well, then. If you want to stay, I'll help you fight him miss Klaire."
It looked at Trace and Daemon.
"I'm not leaving without her. If she wants to fight him, I can't stop her."
Syl closed its eyes and weakened its shields to conserve energy as it prepared to cast another spell. It closed its eyes and concentrated on Klaire, since she was the main target. Syl wouldn't have casted it on Daemon as well, but it didn't want to use too much energy. Its energy stores were great, but not unlimited. If they fell beneath a certain level, it would be in big trouble.
"Strengh Enhancement Spell level 6. Identification number EL-8297385… spell acknowledged. Power output 80%. Target: Klaire. Duration: 600 seconds."
Syl opened its eyes and fixed its gaze on Klaire.
"Activate."

Klaire felt her strength increase, and watched as the harpoon hit the wall behind her. She ran forward, jumping into the air with ease and landing behind the General, thinking he was either going to zip forward with the harpoon or pull the wall off so it slammed into them. With her extra strength, she swung the mace in an upward strike, trying to bring it up in between his legs in a cheap hit.

"Well who am I to turn down a good fight?" Trace said with a grin, "If some little girl can fight this jackass, then I sure as hell aint going to be upstaged." The voices of the dead had mixed reactions, but that was no surprise. Each one had their own personality, with old ones dissapearing and new voices appearing all the time. This was going to take some time to get used to.

The girl was bright. She knew exactly what he was about to do.
He pulled the harpoon and a huge chunk of the wall fell on the ground. It shook the entire floor. He saw the girl jumping behind him and felt something coming in between his legs. He grinned and and jumped higher, avoiding the attack.
"Not again." He thought.
He landed behind the girl and threw a punch at the back of her head.

No one ever listens to him, his voice like a mouse, soft and dwindling. Thats when he realized, thats how it had been for his whole life. Maybe if he could not make the general listen to him, he'd die fighting. He did not give a fuck if people thought he was insignificant anymore. He did not care if he died, death would be a old friend welcoming him again and not a thief in the night.
"Look, if you are not going to listen to me I will make you listen!" He shouted as he tackled the general and used his wings to pin him down. As he was done he sent a mental message to Klaire and Syl: Klaire, Syl, please leave. I know you are capable but I don't want you both to die. I don't give a shit about me,"

The Red General was surprised. How can this boy have so much strength in his small body? He blamed the Nazi scientist and felt sorry for this kid. Poor kid probably got opened and and patched and sewn back.
"Look, if you are not going to listen to me I will make you listen!"
He had to end this kid's suffering. His brain was probably conditioned to think they're not in a war and this is some other place and he had to defend his home. He remembered what it was like back the Nazi's secret laboratory. It was a nightmare.
"Alright." The Red General said, lying on the floor, with the kid on top of him. "I'll listen."

Kiel appeared next to Syl, although only Syl could detect or see it. In fact, Syl wasn't even sure if this was Kiel or just another hallucination. Its sibling was grinning widely, eloquently pointing at the general's crotch area.
"Oooh look!" said Kiel, "When this is done and over with, I'm castrating him and using his testicles as golf balls, seeing as everyone sees them as attractive targets."
It burst out laughing, which brought solace to Syl in this time of need.
"Or I'm going to use them to whip up a good bowl of testicle soup for you. Hopefully human testes don't have any fibre in them, and it'll do well to commemorate our smashing victory over him."
It laughed and turned to the general.
"Hey, Mr. Big Balls! Be a man and grow up even more! I'm sure that people will love to taste those balls on you... on their dinner plates, of course! The manlier the better, huh?"
Kiel vanished, still laughing, as suddenly as it came, its mocking laughter still filling Syl's ears.
Nonetheless, Syl still appeared as if it had never heard Kiel's joke and nodded to itself, taking a deep breath. It leapt over to Daemon's side, putting a comforting hand on his shoulder.
"You don't need to be alone, Daemon," said Syl gently, softly enough so that only Daemon and perhaps Mr. Big Man could hear, "I'm here to help, and there's no way that I'm deserting my friends. You may not care about yourself, but I do!"

"You probably think I am some brain washed kid that is part of the Nazi troop, I am not even religious and am American I know its lots to handle, and you are in denial but its true. I have no idea how you ended up here---maybe a portal or something. But please can we try to compromise something, I don't wanna hurt you......really, I am just doing this because you won't listen. We are not in Earth but Animus, another dimension," he said, his voice dwindling slowly.
He had empathy for the general, it must really suck to be pulled out from home onto somewhere unknown. Intuition told him to finish him off, compassion told him different. He hoped compassion would push through, he hated to fight this guy. He knew he'd die since the general was stronger than him but he had to do what he ha to do.
He turned to Syl, disgust in his expression, "No, I don't want you to die or get hurt. LEAVE! "

Klaire watched as Daemon tackled the man to the ground. She returned her hands to normal, and then felt a feeling a light headedness rush over her. Her breath was suddenly short, and she collapsed, gripping a door frame.

Phoebe waved her hand, the flames vanishing. She stood there highly annoyed that the general abandoned her to fight the others. She approached him and Daemon. "Compromise is for fools," she growled low in her throat. "He should die, they all should die."
Her tail lifted, the point hoovering over his face, ready to plunge in right between his eyes. "The Nazi's did nothing to us. Most of us were born this way."
Anya ran over to Klaire, and used her power to heal Klaire. "Relax, I'll heal you."

Syl backed away, horrified at the change in his expression, before becoming serious again.
"Daemon, I have enough energy left to protect myself, the one I'm worried about is YOU! How do you think I'll feel if you die?! I won't leave without with miss Klaire, Daemon."
It turned to see Klaire collapse, gripping a door frame. It rushed over to her, looking concerned.
"Miss Klaire!" yelled Syl.

The kid was mumbling. Stuff about him not being brain washed and this place, not being Earth anymore. His mechanical heart pumping chemicals inside his body was making it hard for him to understand and focus. The demon fox lady appeared and mumbled something else.
He was built after all to fight...to kill...and not listen. Damn Nazis knew exactly what they wanted in a perfect soldier. His heart pumped more chemical into his system.
There was dirt and sweat on his handsome face. His hair all messed up, and his eye patch, back in place on his left eye. He continued smiling at the kid. His tone sounded like he was in a lot of emotional pain. He felt sorry.
"I'm sorry." The Red General spoke in the sincerest voice.
He held the kid at the back of his head with his left hand, lovingly.
"I'm sorry." He murmured again.
Finally, he pointed his harpoon at the kid's throat and fired, almost hitting the demon fox. It went through his throat. Blood splattered on his face. He retracted the harpoon back in his arm.
He pushed his body off him and smacked the wind poweredguy standing next to him. He staggered to get up. He saw the man with the girl he was fighting with earlier. He looked ready to fight and die.
He started charging, firing the harpoon at the man.

Daemon had fallen pathetically. He expected more from this and it ended so quickly. He could not breathe and was slowly going dim, he was able to send a note to Syl and Klaire before he would slip away.
Syl, Klaire, you both are my only real friends in my three hundred years of living. Please have everything I own, even my loyal companion--my scythe---I
And just like that he was gone....
