Syl looked concerned for her.
"Are you... alright?"

Daemon did not care at this point, he was rather bored so anything went with him. He left on his way to the lake.

"I'm sorry," Bryony said. "I have horrible temper tantrums sometimes." Just then, she morphed into a wolf and lay on the cold ground, wrapping her tail around her body as she wept. She didn't like this new world, this new dimension.

But was able to catch Bryony's change. He smirked, this could be interesting and went back. "We'll sweetie, the world is harsh and may I ask, how was yours like?"

Syl smiled as it knelt down before her, its long dark red and dark violet coat dragging along the ground. It softly petted her in an effort to make her feel better.
"It's alright," said Syl, "I'm here to help. I know that this isn't an ideal world to live in, but we all manage. I'll help you when I can. I mean, I was once in a similar position myself."
A wind blew through the area, whipping Syl's black hair and coat around. It fell to its mid-back, so Syl had to use one hand to get it out of its face. It gazed gently at the werewolf, hoping to get her to open up.
"I'll do my best to acquaint you with this place and get you settled in, if you'll let me."

"Well it was..." Bryony struggled to find the words. "Normal." She finished dully. She rested her head on her paws and sighed. "It was home."

Syl chuckled.
"You're lucky then," it said, "at least it was normal. I don't know much about my past, but as far as I can tell, it was anything but normal."
It continued to pet her wolf form.
"It's alright. At least you're not alone here in this city full of mindless."

"I met a guy named God and I think he is definitely just a hybrid human, not God himself, personally any dogmatic religion is bullshit," Daemon said smiling, "talk about normal? My life is far from normal."

Bryony didn't seem to hear either of them. She was too busy feeling sorry for herself. "I want to go home." She whined. She raised her head and howled at the rising moon in frustration.

Daemon rolled his eyes, this was useless, "suck it up! If you are going to wreck everyone's mood with your whining might as well go and be a recluse. Pardon my manners but there is no way to go back as far as I know, unless we warp you. Well, that is if you convince DeAnne."
She was starting to annoy him, self pity did nothing for anyone. He learnt that from Lain and DeAnne, they moan and weep wanting something, its the same cycle of morose issues that can be fixed. It annoyed the worst of him, people need to learn to suck it and face realty, move on and realize that what is served in the platter can always be improved.

Syl gazed at her, still petting her, still trying to cheer her up.
"This is your home now," said Syl, "but I'm afraid that Daemon has a point here. While it's good to let the pain out, whining won't get you favours here. It'll just annoy people. You'll manage, you'll adapt and you'll survive, and given some time and some help... maybe you'll find you're place here."
It then attempted to shake her gently, in an effort to get her attention.
"Listen to me, please! Not all is lost! You have to see that! There is still some parts of your life that can be salvaged. You just need to adapt a bit and make use of some pratical knowledge."

Bryony snarled at Daemon, leaping up with her hackles raised. "Sorry about me being a bit upset," She growled sarcastically. "But I've just found out that I will never see my family, my friends, ever again and I can't contact them or do anything that makes me feel safe. Basically, I am currently a total wreck, so deal with it, you jerk!" She roared.

"Well no need to whine about it, I lost everything at age seventeen and you don't see me whining. My fucking mother died when I was twelve and you don't see me whine!!!!" Daemon was utterly aggravated, this pup was pathetic. He did not give a damn about his shirt, as long as it was not his cloak or trench. His wings burted out and unfolded like blinds falling down. The metallic blades for feathers started to spike like an angry cat, they were ready to kil. Daemon pulled them out of their place, "do you really want to fight me?!" He roared back.

Syl looked at the werewolf, then at Daemon. He was not happy. It's best if I get out of the way now, thought Syl, no need to be skewered by a friend.
It stood, took a few steps back and sighed. It shook its head, amazed at this young lady. Unlike Syl, she failed to realize that Daemon wasn't taking this well, and that this might be her downfall.
"Careful. You do realize what you just said, right?" asked Syl, looking at her and then at Daemon. "And how my friend here feels?"

Bryony snarled, baring her long jaws. "I'm ready for anyone." She growled. "Do you think you're man enough to fight me? You're not gonna back out like a pussy, and say 'I don't hit girls'?"
