Klaire shook her head. "In all honesty, I was too busy thinking about the world outside of that hellish facility to be worrying about other planets. Sometimes you have to have priorities," she said. It made a lot more sense than most of her other childish babble. This was probably something she had thought long and hard about.

Daemon was now done with chopping and put all the ingredients in the frying pan, he was going to make a lovely meal today.

Syl nodded.
"Ah, I understand," it said, "for me it was rather different."
It drew its legs closer to itself, smiling at Klaire.
"When I was young, I always dreamed of travelling, learning about humanity and exploring the world, if not the universe. I was still stuck in my hometown, a little like you were stuck in that facility, but my experiences were not hellish. Just... really frustrating. I had big dreams. Really big dreams... but... it was a long while before I could leave my hometown..."
Syl turned its gaze to the sky outside.
"I didn't care about priorities," it said, "but I had quite an imagination... Isn't that cool about these shows, miss Klaire? How much imagination got put into them?"
Its gaze turned to Klaire again.
"Ah, I'm sorry if I'm rambling. I... was just... wondering what you dream to do in the future..."

"Don't worry about it," Klaire said in response to his rambling comment. She smiled warmly, in total stereotyped anime style. She ran a hand through her hair once, and returned to watching the show.

"Thanks."
Syl smiled at her and returned to watching the show, finding it oddly easy to predict who would win each battle. It found the show a little boring, but kept up a cheery expression for Klaire.

Klaire closed her eyes for a brief moment, but maybe it was a moment too long. She was soon asleep, her legs curled up so that she looked like a large ball on the couch.

Syl looked at Kiel curiously as it watched her fall asleep. How odd, really. Syl wondered what sleeping was like... resting for it allowed Syl to rest its mind, but it was just that... resting its mind. Its instincts instead were in control, ready to rouse it awake if they sense any disturbances in the air. It wasn't this... sleep/
"I wonder what it's like to be like that," muttered Syl, "to have these wild prophetic dreams that humans and human-like beings are said to have?"
It took the remote and paused the episode, still looking at Klaire pensively.
"I wonder what you're dreaming, miss Klaire," said Syl to her gently, "but I sure hope that they're sweet."

Daemon now was done with the main dish, he smiled contently at it and was off to make desert. A chocolate lave cake would do it (with some liquor off corse).

Time passed as Syl curled and watched over Klaire. The show didn't matter to it... it was mere entertainment in Syl's opinion. For it... it valued relationships more, and Klaire was like a sister to it.
It smiled contently as it watched Klaire sleep, stil wondering what she was dreaming, still happy that she was alright... although still oddly expecting the cat in her stomach to growl at any given moment. It then wondered how she could even fit a cat in her stomach without it being torn to bits by those little claws.
It raised its head as it smelled something coming from the kitchen.
"Mm, that smells good," it said.

Daemon now was waiting for the cake to bake. In the meantime he called Syl to watch him make its soup. "Hey Syl, I wanna teach your something."

Syl leapt up and scurried to the kitchen as quickly as it could. It stopped suddenly next to Daemon, grinning widely.
"I'm here, Daemon! Is the soup ready yet?"
It looked at the soup, almost looking like it was drooling for it. It liked Daemon's cooking, and when it was ready, Syl would be right there to gulp it down in all of its ultra-sweet, sugary glory. The thought of sugar made Syl thirstier.

"I am going to teach you how to make this soup. First, put the broth, stir a bit, then add honey. Keep stirring then add more honey, then sugar. Its done!" He said giving Syl the soup.

Syl grinned at Daemon, looking very happy.
"Thank you, Daemon!" it said, looking wide eyed at the soup, "I'd love to try making it myself, but I would prefer if you did it, because you're such a great cook! Mmm... it smells delicious! Thank you, thank you thank you, Daemon!"
It took the bowl of soup and set it down on the dining room table to cool down a bit. It turned back to Daemon, still grinning.
"Is the rest of dinner ready? I want to know when it's best to wake up miss Klaire. She's fast asleep now. I just wonder why that cat in her stomach hasn't growled yet."

"Dinner is ready," he shouted as he pulled the cake out of the oven. "Please wake her."

Syl nodded eagerly and ran over to Klaire.
"Miss Klaire!" it called, "dinner's ready! Please wake up!"
It ran up to her, knelt in front of her as she slept, gently trying to shake her awake.
"Please, miss Klaire, I don't mean to scare you, but it's time to eat."
