Anya slipped back inside the bar after the monk. She took a quick survey of the others, she took a seat where she wouldn't be surrounded by the others. She leaned forward at the bar, bending her knees to hook her feet around one of the legs of the bar stood. She pushed her hair out of her eyes, and didn't pay attention to anyone for the moment.

Johnny walked past Anya and the Monk and took his seat beside Veronica.
"What did I miss?", Johnny asked.
"Oh, nothing much really.", Veronica replied. "Chains was asking about the city, why don't you fill him in on what you know." Veronica motioned off the bar stool. "As I go to the bathroom for a sec."
"Sure." Johnny replied as Veronica walked away.

Chains’ attention flickered back and forth between those at the bar. He studied Monk a little longer than the others as he was the newcomer on the scene, but his gaze didn’t neglect Anya or Johnny or even Victoria’s departure. “By all means,” he said, dragging the syllables of his words out like the tongues of a gentle fire. “Continue.”

Johnny sipped his beer, looked at Chains and replied, "I think we're somewhere in between heaven, earth, and hell..." Johnny shrugged. "I can say purgatory, but then I'd be pushing it because I don't even believe in hell."

In the bathroom:
Veronica washed her hands, as she looked upward and caught her reflection on the mirror. Still looked good despite not fixing herself for a week... Veronica shrugged and wondered if it was on account that she was used to herself with minimal make up on.
Veronica looked away from the mirror and noticed something on the ground.
Veronica turned the faucet off and bent down to find a handgun.
She picked it up, wiped it clean with tissue, and hid it against her hips.

Anya sat up, placing her palms on the bar counter. She listened to the others quietly, her gaze focused on the wood of the counter. If she thought about how many people were in the bar, she'd panic. She kept her mind clear, breathing out evenly. She would not fall to her fears.

“Don’t believe in…” He closed his eyes, fighting back his scorn with an effort of will that was truly divine in some right. Far be it for me to try and convince those of limited minds. Far be it for me to revert back into old ways, old habits. Preacher. Teacher. Hah. I don’t even remember the nature of the hands that fixed my clockwork mind in place and that pointed the hands of my thoughts in the direction they were forced to turn. All I remember was that the disbelievers were to be my special projects. And they became just that, in the end. They thought time was infallible. Ignorants. Clocks can wind down. Gears can get stuck. It took them too long to notice that I have a flaw in my surface: a crack that runs down the face of the glass. Chains opened his eyes and smiled at Johnny. “What do you believe in then?” he asked. "And you?" he looked past the human to where Anya sat. "What do you think?"

Anya glanced over to Chains. She inclined her head toward him, a smirk upon her lips. "There is a hell," she told him. If there was no hell, there would be no creatures of the darkness. Like her. Vampire.

The falcon shrieked at the man to the side of the monk before he hopped off the mug and winged his way behind the counter and found a spot among the bottles. His ears twitched as he listened to the others speaking. He lifted a second drink to his lips, paused for a moment to let the smell of the drink drift in. The female appeared to have taken a seat somewhere near by, the others were stayed in their places. "Lost? That is a relative term. For all you know, you are the only soul here and the rest of us are figments of your mind trying to teach you a lesson." Monk sipped at the beer and set it down then looked to the others again. He reached into the bag and pulled out another treat for the falcon, placed it on the counter and looked over to the one that went by the name of "Johnny." Their thoughts of their current location. The ladies smirk. He shook his head and leaned back, looking from the "Chains" to the others waiting to hear their thoughts. The falcon hopped down long enough to take the treat and flew back up behind the bar to his hiding spot and watched the otehrs

"I believe in God, good, evil, and destiny.", Johnny replied as he reached for his bottle of beer. "That's what I believe in."

~*~ The bracelet on Johnnys wrist was glowed with a faint red glow. It detached, and formed itself into a needle again. It flew past his face and through the bar window, leaving a small hole, as it disappeared into the night.

You believe in God, but not in Hell? Interesting.” He would have said more, had his attention—fixed firmly on Johnny, not noticed the bracelet’s sudden glow. His eyes narrowed. He watched the transformation in sudden, intense silence. Well now. What was that? And where did it go?

Johnny's jaw dropped at the sight of the bracelet transforming into the needled.
Jesus, man couldn't know what to make of it.
Myzrael...
Johnny sipped his beer and held onto his wrist. Whatever it was, it was gone now.
Johnny sighed and sipped his beer again.
"Yeah.." Johnny began, trying to shake it off. "I don't believe in hell. I believe in a natural order, but the concept of hell is nothing more than a human construct."

Veronica stepped out of the bathroom. Closing the door behind her, she held on to her hip, making sure the gun was still there.
Just a little tick, she needed to be sure.
Veronica approached the bar and took her seat next to Johnny.
He looked shaken.
"Are you ok?"
"Yeah," Johnny replied. "I am... The bracelet's gone though..."

Anya was startled by the thing the bracelet did. She glanced over to Johnny and Veronica. Something felt off, odd. She wasn't sure what was with the bracelet. "Hm. Fascinating," she purred, licking at her lips. Humans with very strange objects. It was amusing.
