"We return here in two days time."That's what Johnny, Veronica's boyfriend, told everyone after the sewer incident. He wanted everyone to re-group again a few days later. Arqus started walking away from the group as soon as the couple, Johnny & Veronica, vanished into the hotel. He desperately wanted to ask the others if he could tag along with them, but he figured they would probably want to be alone and rest. He noticed how Myzrael was looking at him when he was leaving. Like he wondered where he was going and stuff. Arqus brushed the thought away and decided to explore the city by himself. He was trying to memorize every street name that he passed by, so that after the 2 day "rest", he wouldnt get lost and he'd be able to find the Admiral Hotel again.

His stomach grumbled. He was hungry. Whatever he ate back at the condemned mall, he puked all out down at the sewers. Arqus kept walking until he spotted a convenience store up ahead. The words "Edna's Place" was painted outside the shop. He entered the store, cautious, not certain what or who he would be able to find inside. As expected it was empty. The light were on but there's no one around. "Hello?" He called out. "Anyone here?" No one answered. The dust on the counter and windows was enough for him to conclude that no one's been here for quite a while. With a small shopping basket, grabbed everything he could possibly eat inside the shop. Hotdogs, Pop corns, Taco's, Sodas, Chips...everything. When he was done, he yelled a "Thank You" before leaving the convenience store. "I could've prolly tagged along with the clown, he's funny....in a twisted way." Arqus stated out loud to himself, as he continued walking. "But what are we gonna talk about? Which Power Ranger tasted better?" He rubbed his chin as he pressed his lips together, thinking. "I could've stayed with Veronica and Johnny..." He thought. "Veronica would probably be okay with it, but Johnny....I don't think he likes me around...his girl." There was a small pebble on the street. Arqus kicked it as he walked along. "Or maybe I could with 'smiley'...what did they call him again? Ah...Trace. But he scares the shite out of me." He told himself aloud, his voice echoing down the rows of buildings. "Or that girl, mmm, Anya." He stopped. He bent down, he pulled the hood of his jacket off his head and scartched his head before saying, "But she doesn't seem to be the talkative type..." He continued marching again. "Aaaannnd....no Arqus....Myzrael is out of the question." He reminded himself. He's been walking down this straight path for about an hour or so now. He decided to turn right and got curious what the central area of the city had to offer. Arqus almost smiled, when he saw the roman inspired marble fountain. He stood there, looking at it, wondering how it'd look like with running water. Approaching the fountain, he could help but notice the magnificent craftsmanship of the marble statues that surrounded the fountain. They were life like and detailed. He touched the face of the nearest statue. It was cold and hard against his finger tips. He wondered if his skin feels the same way when he transforms into diamond. Is he that freakishly looking? Arqus sat on the cobblestone steps of the fountain. "Looks like it's just you and me buddy." He muttered to himself.

Arqus sat on the steps of the dried up marble fountain. It seems that every minute he sat there, he was getting bored to death. He thought he would be able to bump into one of the "zombie" citizens of Animus. Maybe he could try talking to them or something.
No luck.
He hugged his knees closer to his chest as he sat there and started to whistle. His eyes scanned the central square of Animus, checking for something interesting he could focus on.
"Arqus."
He blinked, hearing his named being called out. But there was no one there when he studied his surrounding.
"Who's there?" He asked out loud, worried.
"Bremmen." The eerrie voice stated in what sounded like a whisper.
He suddenly remembered the events that happened down at the sewers. He remembered how he killed one of those Rangers. He was aware of what was happening that time, but it felt like he wasnt able to control his movements. He knew his lips moved and spoke the words "I am Bremmen." before his diamond blade arm speared the head of the ranger.
"Where are you?" Arqus inquired, standing up slowly, his voice shaking. His face was turning as blue as his eyes with fear.
The voice replied, "I am inside you."
His heart started beating faster. He could hear his own thundering heart beat agaisnt the cavity of his chest. The legend was true. The Legend of King Asgard and demon Bremmen was real.
"No." He said with a chuckle. "You're not real and this isn't happening."
"I am as real as you." It spoke again.
Arqus covered his ears with his hands, turning around this time walking closer to the fountain. "I'm not hearing any of this! You're not real!"
"But I am." The voice who called himself Bremmen argued.
"Damn! I probably ate spoiled food and I'm hallucinating!" He yelled, trying to drown the voice. Hands still covering his ears. "Yes! That's right I'm hallucinating!"
"Silly boy." There goes the voice again, this time it chuckled lightly, as if amused with him.
Arqus climbed at the fountain's corner. Silly boy. Myzrael called him that before.
"You're Myzrael aren't you???!" He asked shouting. His face was flushed red from both anger and fright. "Myzrael get out of my head!!"
Bremmen chuckled and told Arqus, "I am not the angel."
"Whoever sick f*ck you are, get out of my head!" With those final words, Arqus jumped back down the stairs and started slapping his head, hoping to get rid of the voice inside.
"That's impossible." It advised, more seriously this time. "I am...you."
Arqus eyes grew wider when he heard that. He was getting freaked out and scared at the same time.
"NO!! Get off me! Get out!" He screamed, furiously beating his chest with his fist.
The voice laughed.
Arqus screamed for the last time. Then he had an idea. He had to rush back to the Admiral Hotel and tell Veronica. Maybe she and Johnny could help him.
His chest and face both flushed red, he started descending down the steps of the fountain.
Before he could reach the final step down, his vision blurred. He stopped dead on his tracks, holding his head with both hands. He groaned, frustrated.
"You can not tell them. Not yet. I will not let you." Bremmen voice echoed inside his head.
Arqus staggered on his feet, but kept moving forward. He felt an unexplainable surge of pain travelling his chest and down his stomach.
It was enough to stop him from walking. He groaned in pain.
Arqus leaned forward to hug his own stomach. He closed his eyes.
Specks of shimmering light surrounded the space around him. And in his pitiful form, Arqus was instantly encased in a chunk of crystal.
The clear crystal that looked like the shape of a jagged tear drop, sparkled beautifully under the light of the sun, with Arqus trapped inside, motionless.

"You're scared, aren't you? I'm sure you would've turned into your diamond form by now, if you can."
A voice spoke from the darkness. The lights turned on suddenly, and Arqus found himself standing in the middle of a room. Everywhere else is dark, except for the spot where he's standing. He could see his own reflection on the floor.
"Who's there?" He asked looking around, nervous.
A being emerged from the shadows and stopped right infront of Arqus. It was huge, about 12 feet tall. The titan was bare chested, exposing his ripped muscular upper body made entirely of gleaming diamond. It wore dark trousers that often looked deep red because of the flame that continuously played around the being. A chain made of diamond was wrapped around it's waist. Finally, peeking from behind it's tattarred diamond hood, was a pair of flaming ruby red eyes and rows of razor sharp crystalline teeth.
"I am Bremmen of Helgard." It spoked with a thundering voice.
Arqus froze and couldnt move. He wanted to run away or hide, but his feet wouldnt let him.
"Wha-what d-d-d-do yy--you want from me?" He stuttered, studying the beast and wondering of the many ways it could probably kill him right on the spot.
The demon who called Bremmen chuckled lightly and said, "I want you to be uncanny and strong. Just like your ancestors."
The darkness on Arqus right disappeared and a scene from long ago played like a movie. There was a handsome king, with shinning, angelic, long blond hair, leading an army of diamond men. The next scene showed a massacre. The diamond army slashing and plunging their blades through flesh of their enemies.
"That's King Asgard." Arqus spoke, recognizing the man from the legend that he read off a book.
"Your ancestor." Bremmen advised. "And my first host body."
"Host body?" He thought, catching his reflection on the floor.
The demon pointed to his left side this time, another scene played. This one took place in a forrest. There were soldiers wearing combat uniforms, probably americans, charging with only knives towards their enemies. From the looks of it, it seemed like a scene from the war in Vietnam. The asian bandits could only watch in complete awe, as the american soldier deflect their bullets with their diamond skin.
The scene zeroed in on a man, hiding up on the trees. He was wearing the same combat uniform as his comrades, only he wasn't made of diamond.
"Your great grandfather mastered the art of diamond form manipulation." Bremmen explained, referring to the rugged looking blond soldier. "Just like Asgard, he was able to turn his platoon into diamond soldiers. They were the only group who survived in that area of the war."
The demon pause with a menacing smile and added, "They cheated."
"How come I don't remember any of this?" Arqus asked, looking up at Bremmen.
"Animus made you forget Magnus."
"Magnus?"
"You are Magnus in another life, before Animus."

"Your entire family died when a bomb exploded in your house. A bomb that was planted by the government of Saccharine. You were a threat, they wanted you dead." Bremmen continued to narrate. "But because of "our" power, you survived...we...survived."
Arqus closed his eyes, tears threatening to fall from his hazy blue eyes. He was sad, not because of the news, but because he can't remember a thing.
"I will help you survive, create chaos, and ultimately...rule."
"Chaos? Rule? But I don't want those."
"I will help you master your powers. I only ask one thing in return." The demon spoke, ignoring Arqus.
"Whish is?"
"You have to submit... to me." The flaming titan smiled at Arqus.
He swallowed hard and replied, "And if I don't?"
Bremmen's laughter echoed inside that room. He added, "You have no choice, I am YOU. We are one. You die and I die."
"What happens to us, when we die..." Arqus voice trailed off.
"We go back to Helgard, where my father rules."
"And you don't wanna see your father, I assume?"
"I want to experience life. I want adventure. I wouldn't dream of going back to Helgard."
"You're a little rebel, aren't you?" Arqus teased.
Bremmen wasn't amused, his face was suddenly serious. He pointed a diamond finger at Arqus and as if on que, the mortal groaned in pain. Arqus cupped the left side of his head with his hands. An ancient nordic spiralling symbol burned through his scalp.
"If everything else fails and you need my help, with your blood, tap that symbol 4 times."
"And then what?" Arqus inquired, nursing his burning scalp.
"I shall take over and finish your battle for you." The demon revealed.
Arqus furrowed his eyebrows, worried.
"I take over temporarily, until it's over. You go back to your puny self ones I'm done." Advised Bremmen. "You have so much in you Magnus and I will teach you everything."
"Can I fly?" He asked, remembering how envious he was of the angel Myzrael.
Bremmen chuckled. Specks of shimmering light appeared behind Bremmen and it turned into a pair of majestic diamond wings.
Arqus' eyes turned wide in awe.
"Cool."

This was a freakin' awesome RP. I loved how Arqus' relationship with Bremmen developed... Its almost like a buddy comedy in a sense, the interaction between the two. Kudos. The only thing I had a bit of trouble with were the number of question marks and exclamation points. Try to use them less, as their impact lessens. As an alternative, use italics and bold to point out changes in tone and mood. Overall it took nothing away from a very enjoyable RP. Well done!
