After spending his time at the fountain, Arqus made his way to the streets, searching. He doesn't know exactly what he was searching for, but he was certain that staying in the town square, staring at the fountain that Myzrael made, isn't helping him.
Thoughts about missing Myzrael and his dark past as Magnus ravaged his mind constantly. His beautiful, but pale sad face already looked tired and bothered.
"Where do you think you're going?" Bremmen spoke to him inside his head.
Arqus stopped on his tracks. He was standing infront of the city hospital. He looked up at the huge crumbling building set against a dark afternoon sky.
"I need something." Arqus advised the demon that lived in him. "I need help."
"Help?" Bremmen was curious. "From what?"
Arqus felt like crying. He covered his face with his hands and spoke, "For everything. I don't know. I need help."
"Arqus." The demon called him in a hushed voice. "What WE need is rest."
"Rest?"
"Yes. Sleep."
Arqus removed his hands from his flushed face. He tucked a few strands of his long golden hair behind his ears and looked around. It has been a while since he slept. He thought that maybe Bremmen was right. Maybe sleep would make him feel better.
"I'll get a room at the hotel..." The mortal said, turning around to head back to the street where he came from.
"No."
"What do you mean No?"
"We'll rest here."
Arqus' eyes scanned the area. He furrowed his eyebrows, wondering if the demon was joking.
"We're in the middle of the street Bremmen, I can't sleep here." He uttered, a little annoyed.
Bremmen laughed. Arqus' stupidity and good heart amuse him most of the time.
"I'll be sleeping too." Bremmen announced.
"So what? That doesn't make sleeping in the middle of the street sound any better." Arqus bit back. "Let's go to the ho..."
Before he could finish, he felt his legs stiffen. He was suddenly, unable to move.
"I won't have you lie on a bed at some hotel." Bremmen muttered, he was somewhat able to stop Arqus from walking. "If we both go to sleep together, we would be both vulnerable from attacks."
"What ever you're doing, stop Bremmen!" Arqus pleaded.
"It's time for the sleeping death."
"Stop it!"
Arqus arms crossed over his chest on their own, as his legs joined together. Bremmen was controlling parts of his body.
"What are you doing?!" He yelled.
"Sleep well Arqus."
That was the last thing he heard before Bremmen encased his body again in a spear shaped crystal made entirely of solid diamond. His eyes were shut closed.
It was then that the spear shaped crystal rotated slowly and burried itself on the ground with Arqus trapped in it.
