Considering how amusing Kiel can be as demonstrated with this post at reply #13:

We've decided as an experiment to see how funny an argument between Kiel and Veronica can be. Kiel here is corporeal, so it can effectively communicate with Veronica.

Kiel pulled Syl along the streets, happy that it could finally (physically) be with its sibling.
"Hurry up, Syl! There's a cute little shop here that I want you to see!"
Syl let itself get pulled along with little resistance. While it was skeptical of Kiel's choice in shops, it trusted its sibling enough to follow it anywhere.
"What coffee shop?! They all keep changing their signs!"
"To me they don't! Now hurry up! There's only a few hours left before it closes, and I want to be in for a good, long conversation! You need to have a good long talk with someone other than that bastard Chains! If you didn't have a brain, that psychopath would have gutted you on the spot, you know."
Syl stumbled after Kiel as the streets and buildings passed by. They all looked the same to Syl, but Kiel appeared to be as adept at naviguating as a homing pidgeon.
"Yes, I know Kiel, but why are you so worried?"
"Because he's dangerous, dammit! And he's a psychopath! Anyone with a brain can put two and two together to figure out that you shouldn't be hanging out with him. If it wasn't for your other side, you would have been screwed!"
"I know, I know! Just please don't worry about me, I can handle myself!"
Kiel let go of Syl's sleeve as they entered the store. It kissed Syl on the forehead and guided it to a table for four, still holding its hand.
"Come on, I know a spot that's near the window."
Syl grinned happily and followed Kiel. It seated itself gently near the window, while Kiel more or less threw itself into the chair right next to it.
A mindless waitress soon approached, saying her usual 'welcome to our dandy little coffee shop' with all the enthousiasm of a robot on the mechanical equivalent of sedatives.
Nonetheless, despite annoying the hell out of Kiel, it gave her a pleasant, friendly smile.
"Gives us lots of water and juice, any juice. Lots of sugar. Those little packets. Gives us lots of them. No food unless anyone else shows up."
Quick as lighting, it stood up and grabbed her by the collar, still smiling pleasantly.
"Oh, and do inform your boss to hide whenever that Mr. Psycho guy shows up. I've noticed that brown-skinned waiter's head on the streets with that guy's name carved into it. I wouldn't like it for service to be cut short!"
It let her go, and as quick as lightning, was back in the chair.
"That said, do have a FUN time serving us; I'm sure that you have no idea that we're so damn peniless."
Kiel burst into laughter as the waitress wandered off for their drinks and sugar. It sounded more like a joyful bird's call than an actual human laugh. Oh, how it loved humour, and cherished the irony of the situation. Kiel loved irony and humour, and it took personal joy and pride in being able to assess any situation and come up with a long and comprehensive analysis of it and how to get out of it.
It turned to Syl, still smiling pleasantly.
"Ah, what a nice day this is, huh, Syl? Ah, the afternoon sun! The sight of the trees swaying in the wind! If there were any outdoor coffee shops, I'd love to visit them! Just so I could feel the breeze rather then get stuck in this claustrophobic little building. But the juice is worth it!"
Syl grinned and hugged it tightly.
"... Yeah... You know what, Kiel?"
"What?"
"What will the others think of you?" it asked softly, "I... really... I mean... you're my sibling... what if...?"
Kiel laughed and ruffled its siblings hair affectionately. Syl was also so sweet to it, and was lovable to be with in general. It actually found its concern for it touching, but hid that behind a a huge grin. It didn't need to show - Syl would instinctively know how it felt due to the connection they had.
"No worries, Syl! You worry so much I dunno whether to call it adorable or troublesome! Never doubt me, Syl! I always have a back up plan!"
It lifted its sibling's chin up and gazed at it in the eyes, its grin now become a gentle smile.
"Enjoy this evening, Syl! If anything happens, I'll protect you!"
Syl grinned back, as it turned to look out of the window.
"You know, Kiel... I've always wanted this, really... I know that you can help me understand humanity, like those human defecation machines, this thing called 'sex' and all these wierd human concepts like technology and all... It's all so fascinating!I'm so excited! Can you tell me?"
Kiel grinned as the waitress arrived, arms laden with plenty of water and juice, as well as piles upon piles of sugar packets. Kiel split the orange juice cups in half so that they both had three. It then started pouring the sugar into the container with water in it, saturating the water to the limits of its solubility, resulting in an extremely sweet taste. It then did the same with teh orange juice. Kiel, like Syl, had a huge taste for sugar. Honey, maple syrup, coke... if it was liquid and sugary, it was on their menu.
Syl grinned as Kiel sweetened its drink, gulping down the first cup of orange juice gleefully. It was nearly as good as Daemon's soup, which was outright delicious.
"This restaurant serves great-quality drinks for an establishment run by mindless. That's why I like this place."
It sipped a cup of orange juice as it rounded the empty packets of sugar into one big pile. It gazed at Syl intently as it set the cup down.
"So, Syl, where do we start?"
