Lain rushed through the door to the police station and skidded to a halt. All she could smell was blood, her hair was matted and stuck to her arms, soaked in it. Wrinkling her nose at it she turned as she heard something fall to the floor, Syl was hurt. "Are you okay Syl?" She asked as she approached staring at the horrid wound. She was about to offer to heal it when Syl covered it with it's hand, Oh, Syl must be able to heal aswell... She thought as she stood close to it. Syl was one of the only people apart from Daemon that she knew. Her ears were still ringing from the constant gunshots, she felt as if her head was about to explode. All the sudden violence scared her, maybe this was the time to prove she wasn't weak. "Whats wrong?" Lain's eyes snapped to the speaker, it was a pretty woman, one she didn't recognize but knew instantly she wasn't human. Lain stood silently as she watched Syl and the new woman, she was curious.

Trace backed through the door of the Police Station still firing shot after shot at the soldiers, each bullet ripping through flesh and sending another soldier to their death. He made sure that all of them heading to the station were dead before entering the station before any more of them could figure out where he'd gone. Trace turned to the others. Syl was on the floor healing a wound, it was no surprise that he hadn't made any use of himself during the actual fighting.
"What a rush," Trace shouted as he entered the station with a grin, "there's nothing better than a good fire fight."

Johnny motioned to close the door as Veronica slowly came to him. Gazing up at the sky, tears fell from her eyes as she murmured, "Arqus...".
Johnny closed the door and took Veronica into his arms. Holding her tightly, he whisper, "It's alright...".
Veronica sunk herself into Johnny's arms as her body shuddered in anguish. "This is all happening too fast..."
Johnny held her tighter. It pained him he couldn't tell her anything else to comfort her.
Turning to Trace, Johnny asked. "Is that everyone?"

"What are we to do now?" Daemon asked, senses sharpened.

Syl looked at Lain and Anya, its grimace returning as it gasped, clutching at its wound and panting. It appeared that the outside was healed, but on the inside was a different story. It didn't feel any pain, but the stiffness it was causing in its left arm was annoying enough.
"Ugh."
"What's wrong?"
It heard Anya's voice, and tried to smile at her, but failed. It shut its eyes, hoping the wound would heal quickly.
"I got shot," whispered Syl, gasping for air, "damn, those bullets do a surprising amount of damage if you're not properly equipped. I covered the superficial part of the wound to prevent it from leaking out and making my situation worse, but the inside still needs time to heal."
As Syl spoke, its clothes slowly began covering its exposed shoulder. As they were a hybrid of extremely durable cloth and Syl's aura, they were self-maintaining, self-cleaning and self-repairing. A useful feature, considering that changing clothes often was a pain for Syl. Syl still covered its shoulder to prevent the others from seeing the self-repairing clothes in action.
It looked at Lain and Anya, trying to smile, as its left arm hung limp at its side.
"Thank goodness that both of you made it here unharmed."
It shuddered.
"Whether I'm fine or not, I'm not sure. I'll likely get shot again later... soldiers like to pick off the weakest first..."
"There's nothing better than a good fire fight."
Syl glared at Trace, but said nothing. This guy was apparently fond of violence... a trait that Syl wasn't overly fond of. Of course it's 'fun,' thought Syl, remembering its last glimpses of Trace as it ran into the police station, when you can get shot and actually shrug it off like its nothing, appearing as if there's no price tag attached to being able to heal so well and so quickly.
Syl looked away and looked at Lain and Anya, and then lowered its head. It noticed how Lain reacted around Anya... it was as if she didn't know her. Syl wanted to introduce them to each other, but it wasn't feeling well enough to do so.
"... Still," it muttered, "it's good to see that you're alright..."
Why can't we just be left in peace? it thought, these two are nice enough... do they really deserve to be caught in a warzone? Well... I suppose that can be disputed. Everyone here has something to hide here, even me, and being caught in a war is not often a punishment, but one of the most unfortunate events that one could be stuck in...

"Is that everyone?"
Trace glanced around the station, looking at all those present.
"No, that nutso clown is still out there fighting and we all saw what happened to Arqus up there. I also saw someone else, I believe it was a female. Big white wings and she didn't seem to fond of blood, kind of pale as well. Anyone know who she is?"

Syl turned back to Trace, wide-eyed. That explosion that it hd seen ealier but didn't pay much attention to because of the all the guns aimed at it... Arqus was in it. And that girl he mentioned... Syl remembered the girl back in the autoshop... the one who didn't like blood... Klaire.
Syl knew her name and who she was, but for various reasons failed to say it out loud. All that came out was a weak whisper.
"Arqus... got blown up?"

The demon opened his eyes and was blinded by the light he saw. Is he dead? What happened? When he was able to think clearly, he realized he was staring up at the sun. Bremmen found himself lying in a medium sized crater on the ground.
The rocket launcher got him.
He probably lost consciousness because of the explosion that he didn't notice falling down from the sky. He shook his head laughing.
"I'm going to kill each one of you bastards." Bremmen laughed psychotically. "I'm going to kill you."
He staggered to get back on his feet while rubbing his eyes. He was back in his mortal form. When he was fully standing, he noted that he was somewhere near the city hospital. He proceeded inside the hospital to hide from the soldiers.
"Wow." Arqus said to Bremmen. "You got your ass whooped pretty good up there, huh?"

Anya nodded slowly. "I understand, being wounded by anything isn't delightful." She wasn't really sure how to comfort Syl, she could handle pain. "It'll be alright. You just stay here, I'll stay here and hold down the fort." She smiled sheepishly.
Her gaze shifted over to Lain. "Hello! I'm Anya," she greeted. Then Trace caught her attention. "Hm."

As soon as the rain of blood and bodies stopped, Klaire ducked out from under the overhead cover. She flew down onto the street, smashing through a store display window and stealing an umbrella. She folded it up (it was collapsible), and put it in a matching backpack in case she needed it. If it started raining blood again, she would be glad she had it.

Jake picked up his pace, rushing towards the police station. If he could make it there, he might just be able to grab some weaponry and survive the paratroopers. What were they doing, first of all? It seemed strange for WWII paratroopers to be falling from the sky.

Phoebe grew bored eventually, returning to her human form. She slipped inside the police station, just to see what they were planning, not because she cared if they died or not. She licked at her lips, moving off a corner, and watching the others.

Syl nodded to Anya.
"Thanks for your understanding. And thanks."
It stood there, still clutching its shoulder, looking helpless. Damn, thought Syl, I'm being useless again. I just hope that I don't have to fight... I really don't like fighting, but I don't know whether it's a luxury I can afford in situations like these...
It sensed that Phoebe was in the police station, but didn't say anything or show it beyond a brief glance in her direction. Her fire demon heritage made her aura easier to detect, especially at close range. It had a wound to deal with now, and now wasn't the time to interfere unnecessarily. It would watch and listen to the others, while it waited for its shoulder to heal.

"Arqus... got blown up?"
"Well, there was an explosion and he was definitely in it. Not a clue if that could have killed him, but it sure didn't do him any good." Trace said before leaning against a wall and reloading his weapon. "What the hell are these guys doing here anyway? Cause they sure as hell didn't all wake up in Room 4."

Johnny motioned to Veronica' and whispered her favorite joke into her ear. Veronica chuckled back and said, "Thank you.".
Johnny smiled back and replied, "Think nothing of it, Roth. Besides Arqus is stronger than the both of us. It takes a lot to keep someone like him down, so I'm sure he'll be fine."
Johnny kissed Veronica on the forehead and released his hug.
Approaching Trace, Johnny said, "How about we go out there, take one of those bastards and bring him back in here?"

Phoebe was interested in Johnny's suggestion, she moved over to him and Trace. "Oooh, I can so capture one." A wicked grin played across her lips.
