Maz decided that he would need to keep an eye on this one, the man called Bruce. His disgusting and vile behavior was one thing but his refusal to except the truth about Animus despite being shown physical proof could be a problem. He had seen disbelievers before and they were often harder to deal with than those with powers. Maz placed a hand on the wall beside him and chanted a small incantation under his breath, so quietly that it would be impossible for anyone else to hear it. As he finished the spell a small shadow appeared on the wall and blended in with the normal shadows to appear invisible. Mazrin used mental commands to send the shadow spy after Bruce and to follow him no matter what. The spy would act as another pair of eyes for Maz and he would have constant feedback.
Rosa brought the flames back into her hands and turned to Syl, seeing him coughing up tar. She was angry, not just at Bruce and his obnoxious attitude but also at Veronica. Surely she was aware that the cigarette smoke would be harmful to one she called a friend. With a small flick of her fingers Rosa caused the cigarette in Veronica's hand to become hotter before turning away and checking on Syl.

"Anytime Syl." She smiled before kneeling down next to Karashi.
It looks like she absorbed his pain.. Placing her hand tenderly on Karashi's back, it began to glow a dull pink surrounding her entire body. "This should help with the irritation in your lungs, but i don't really know what's wrong with you so unfortunately i can not completely heal you. It will just help to ease the pain until we can get you to the hospital." She whispered to her, trying to sound comforting.

Entering one of the shops, Fleur's blue eyes sparkled with excitement as soon as she got it. There were machines, old rusty ones on the floor and some railed up in chains on the ceiling. The floor was surprisingly clean, but the work tables had grease and oil splattered on them.
It looks like whoever worked were awfully busy.
There were spare parts from cars and machines lying on the floor. She had to step over the huge metal pipe resting there.
Fleur got something out of her trousers pocket. It was a list of things she needed and from where she's standing, she could see everything's inside the shop. She placed the glass box down on a table.
Both hands on her hips she said, "Now all I need to look for is a Magic shop."

“Does a certain French some one need a magic shop?” Mr. Psycho sings as he appears directly behind Fluer. “Well, look no further my fruitful flower! I am your one stop magic shop, just reach into my pocket and you’ll experience something much more than magic” Mr. Psycho laughed hysterically, he said all of this way to close to Fluer’s ear, so much that it would be popping the normal person’s personal space bubble. No breath came from his mouth, simply because he did not breath, he was like a dead man.. But alive. But a word of warning, never bring this up to him or you will fall victim to a rant that goes nowhere.

Veronica listened to what was going on as she slowly drew herself back. Showing Animus' history to Bruce had been extremely taxing.
Veronica flicked the cigarette from her hand and approached Bruce; passing through Mr. Psycho like she had not even see him. "What I told you was the truth and whether you want to take it or not isn't our problem but yours. Cut all this shit and learn how to get along with everybody else, because I swear to you that we are all going to be stuck together for a very long time.". Veronica gave herself a moment to compose herself as she finished, "A little civility is all that I am asking for.".

Fleur was startled when someone spoke behind her. She immediately turned around and saw a bald pale man with the permanent grin on his face. She met him before and quite honestly didn't like him mostly because of his rudeness,
"Oh, it's you." Fleur mumbled with one raised eyebrow.
"I am your one stop magic shop, just reach into my pocket and you’ll experience something much more than magic.”
"Tempting offer, but no thanks." She bit back, not really believing what the man told her. "If you're looking for a quick 'scratch' down there, you better catch up with the group heading for the hospital right now. I'm sure one of them would be willing to help."

Karashi frowned, and she could feel the tension in her chest let up a bit. She looked at Lain and mouthed thank you, seeing as she still couldn't talk. She had enjoyed the hug from Syl, but Lain had started to heal her immediately, so she couldn't mouth anything to him, thanking him for the hug. She frowned, coughing hard, sad because she now had tar in her lungs and that she couldn't talk.

Syl realeased Karashi and Lain from its hug and picked up Karashi again. It smiled at Rosa.
"Miss Rosa," it said, smiling as it waved at her, "Thanks for standing up for me there!"
It ran up to her, smiling eagerly, before once again being reduced to hopeless stuttering again.
"I mean... I just... um... no one's ever stood up for me the way you did right now. I... um... uh... ah... is... that man gone now? Because... um... I think we should get miss Karashi to the hospital and... maybe figure out a way to get that tar out of her lungs as she... um.... took my suffering upon herself... and... I don't want to see her suffer..."
It looked up at Rosa, then at Karashi, with pleading eyes.
"Maybe the doctors can help her? Maybe they can give her one of those magic potions and she'll be all better again... Right?"

Rosa smiled as Syl stuttered out his thanks, and then his worry about Karashi's ailment. While Rosa knew Karashi was only trying to help she knew that it was a foolish thing to do, because while Syl would likely be able to heal himself over time Rosa was unsure if Karashi was able to as well.
"Maybe the doctors can help her? Maybe they can give her one of those magic potions and she'll be all better again... Right?"
"We'll see Syl," Rosa said with a small frown. "But Doctor's only use modern medicine, and removing tar from the body isn't something that a common Doctor could do. But maybe Maz could..."
Maz looked at Rosa and sighed. He had never had to remove tar from a persons body before, so he didn't know what kind of potion would be needed, although that had never stopped him before and he had invented endless amounts of new never before known of potions in a short amount of time before.
"With the supplies at the hospital I could attempt to create some kind of potion," Maz said, before adding a warning so nobody would get their hopes up. "although I can not guarantee it will be a success."

Lain listened to the steady chatter around her. Attempting to ignore the steadily growing migraine.
So the girl has Tar in her lungs? Thats very peculiar.. and kind of gross..
As she thought about Karashi's predicament she realized that even though she wouldn't be able to completely get rid of the Tar she could possibly dilute it. Maybe even purify it..
"I might be able to purify the tar, turning it into water.. But I'm not sure if that would help the situation or just make it worse. Either way we should really get to the hospital as soon as possible." She said as she stopped to stand next to Rosa.

Veronica had tapped her feet as she waited for Bruce to answer her. She turned back and remembered that she still had Syl and the girl to look after.
Veronica led them to the hospital and held the door open for them.

Syl looked at Karashi and smiled as it approached the hospital.
"Don't worry, Miss Karashi," said Syl, "you'll be all better, soon. Just you wait."
It ran through the door, holding her tightly, looking around the hospital. Then, Syl felt something... someone...
It stopped right in its tracks, as it felt a sharp pain in its mind. Asri and Syl... much like with Kiel, all three of them shared a bond, a sort of link that manifested as a result of their pact. It was integral for survival, and allowed them to find each other when necessary. Kiel was strong enough to block it at will, making it difficult to track, but not Asri. He was so sickly and weak, that he had little energy at his disposal, which was why he needed Syl's power to attempt casting any magic.
Still, having not used the link for so long, Syl had grown accustomed to live without it, or with minimal use of it with Kiel. While Kiel was secretive, the link with Asri was almost always open. Will Syl felt various other auras in the area, like Bremmen and Arqus's, another part Demon aura resembling Rosa and Maz's (probably Viscum)... Syl struggled to conceal its pain, and for most part succeeded.
"Miss Karashi... I think I know someone that can treat you, and that has experience in dealing with your problem. He's in the hospital somewhere... Would... you like to meet him?"
