Relazael groaned and adjusted his glasses, looking up at his oh so courteous visitor.
"For an archangel you sure aren't polite," he said, smiling, "why don't you apologize for your rudeness before we can get down to business, hmm? I've a rough day, so can you at least grant me some sense of sympathy?"
He chuckled gently as he looked at Michael, who he knew was probably in a foul mood. Apparently he had business with the Angel of Plagues. Which, usually, never involved tending fields of daisies.

Some time later, Asri ran up to the doorstep of Selice's house, knocking on the door anxiously. He didn't want to stand here in plain sight... not with Michael on his back. Asri, ironically, wanted to change the contract, but... it was... complicated.
"Jasper?! I have the search warrant!"
He looked around, half-expecting Michael to show up and stab him in the gut. Not knowing that where the Archangel really was.

Michael evened his gaze with the reaper. "This is an urgent that has to do with the well being of someone very dear to me. Please, where is Asri?" He asked gruffly.

Jasper ran to the door and opened it, letting Asri into the home. "You got it? Awesome" He grinned. Jasper carefully closed the door behind Asri and lead him back to the office.

Relazael shrugged.
"Selice? Asri mentioned that to me; apparently he cares for her as well." He gave Michael a wry smile. "You know what this means don't you? If Selice ever ends up like his last ex-girlfriend, mind sending me a picture for me to store in the archives?"
The angel stood, still smiling as he crossed his arms, tilted his head and looked out of the window. He paused for a long while, staring at the birds fluttering about outside, chuckling to himself. Eventually, he finally deigned to get back on topic.
"Do you want the long answer or the short answer to that question, Archangel?"

Asri smiled as Jasper lead him back to the office, his thoughts, naturally, on how to bring Ethos to justice. Perhaps there was hope for proving Selice's innocence.
"Arvix says that you owe him though," said Asri, "if our case against Ethos backfires, you and Arvix will get in trouble. I'll probably end up getting kicked out of Heaven for some time. That said, what do you plan to do now?"

Jasper laughed. "Nah we'll just most likely get chewed out, we've been chewed out before. Anyway I don't know how to help you any further, after all, you are the ace attorney, right?" he asked with a laugh. "and Arvix can kiss my angel butt. I've gotten him out of more jams than I'd care to mention" he added, patting Requiem on the head.

Michael starred. "Just give me the short answer, I run short of time, reaper" he said softly.

Asri smiled at Jasper, chuckling.
"Ace attorney? More like a detective really," he said, "and that's a bit difficult as I don't have Kiel backing me up as usual. Kiel knows how to get a good story, and for now, we'll need one to convince the court. So far we know that Ethos is framing her and hopefully why, but we'll need to bring the evidence so that the court can witness it with their own eyes."
He looked at Jasper straight in the eyes.
"I think it'll help if you come to court with me," he said, "I'll need all the backup I can get. Now, we'll have to go to Ethos's house and make use of the search warrent. I know some people that can help me search. You can come if you want."

Relazael shrugged.
"The short answer is... I don't know," he said, smiling, "he visited here briefly before to collect some evidence but when he was done he flew away pretty quickly. He could be anywhere now, maybe even in Hell."
His pleasant mood masked the fact that he did have some inkling of where Asri was, but Michael looked irritated enough that it was best if he could stall their meeting.
