Asri smiled cheerfully as he led Kasuma on, entering the street where he knew where a lot of clothing shops were located, for men and women. Asri didn't know of Kasuma's taste in clothing, so he decided to ask before entering a particular store.
"The shopkeepers here are mindless," said Asri, "they only do their jobs, and until they regain their sense of self, they don't have much more to them than that. They're not very responsive to anything, hence why you can just take stuff out of stores and no one will really care."
He glanced at a few stores that they passed, stores selling formal men's clothing, similar ot what Asri wore.
"Just wondering, Kasuma," said Asri, "what kind of clothing do you like? Suits? Blazers? T-shirts...?"

“Anything that isn’t black or brown is fine with me..” Kasuma replied a bit hollowly. He wasn’t in the mood for shopping or trying on cloths. If he was, he would have said something like, ‘purple with cute slogans on the front!’ But, it was obvious his mind was still wandering around his father and his failure of being a god. Kasuma silently followed Asarek, his wings were still out, unable to seal them since they his wing was sprained and had rope burn. He held onto his arm, head low. His father would know by now… and it wouldn’t be long until he made an appearance.

"Good enough," said Asri, smiling, as he led him into a charming shop selling men's clothes.
It was a nice, neat shop, well ventilated and well-lit, selling clothes that ranged from formal to semi-formal, in many colours, mostly black, brown, navy, white, dark green, dark purple, burgundy, among other colours. This was one of the shops that Asri went to for his clothes, if he could sneak away from Kiel's antics for the day.
His looked back at Kasuma, looking worried that he was still apprently concerned about his father and his difficulties with being a god... Asri remembered him from the last time they had seen each other... he was almost the complete opposite of this. It was really strange to see him so worried about his father. Asri could relate, in a way... back when he was human, he was chronically ill, to the point where his parents' frustration concerning his apparent 'uselessness' got to the point where... they ended up abandoning him.
"Don't worry," said Asri, "I'm sure your father isn't that bad... right? Everything will work out fine."

Kasuma looked at the cloths, not wanting to touch them since he was still a bit dirty from falling into a pile of garbage. He just hoped he didn't smell as bad as he thought he did. "I guess your right... it's not like this is the worst I've done. At the least he'll chase me out of the house with a sword trying to cut my fingers off." Kasuma replied a bit gloomily. "It's a good thing I'm a fast runner, or I might have had my hair cut years ago." He chuckled. He had kept his hair long for a great deal of time. And he wouldn't so easily let his father cut it to a shorter length without a chase.

Asri chuckled, not letting the smell emanating from Kasuma to get to him. Like most people, he didn't like the smell of trash. Unlike most people, he wouldn't judge Kasuma for it. He wanted to help as best he could, even if he wasn't the highest ranked angel in Heaven. His rank in Heaven was... well... ambigous for a reason.
Don't worry Kasuma," he said, smiling, "then again, I guess we're alike in that way. I used to wear my hair short, but after a while, and stuff happening, I eventually got used to wearing it long. Not floor-length, though... I can imagine how heavy that can get in the water. Plus, I wouldn't trust Kiel with a pair of scissors unless my life depended on it."
He chuckled, as he searched through the clothing racks for a decent outfit. For once, he wasn't looking at the purple clothes - he was searching through the navy ones this time. However, since Kasuma wasn't going to be trying it on immediately, Asri would have to estimate his clothing size. Since the two of them had a similar frame, Asri pulled out some clothes that were his size, hoping that they would fit Kasuma as well. It was a nice, dark green, long-sleeved shirt, and sa pair of semi-formal navy pants. NOt particularly flashy, but by Luisine's Light, they weren't going to a ball tomorrow.
"If you need anyone to brush your hair, Kasuma, I'm here to help," said Asri, "hmm... how about this, Kasuma?"

Kasuma took a moment to inspect the cloths, then spoke. “Well, it’s not bad, and it’s not as ugly as this.” he said as he raised his arm to inspect his own dirty clothing. “It’s good enough.” He said. He was usually more picky than this, but he wanted to take a bath as soon as possible to get this nasty stench off of him. “Would the shop owner mind if we took along some shoes? The rough pavement is killing my feet.” Kasuma said shyly. He was wearing plain old socks, which were pretty filthy from his dive into the trashcans earlier.
He walked over to a rack of shoes and bent down to looked at them. Most of them were of formal black, some brown loafers, others were like white nurse shoes. Personally, he disliked them all. But, he decided to pick out something that would match the cloths that Asarek had picked out. He picked up a pair of black wide soled boots with dark brown lacing that laced around the neck of the shoes. They seemed to match the dark green and the army pants, so he walked back over to Asarek and showed them to him. “Is this alright?” Kasuma asked. He seemed to be fairly well with matching things together, which wasn’t much of a surprise considering his sexuality and his main job as a god.

Asri grinned pleasantly, looking at him from top to bottom. He was embarassed to admit to himself that Kasuma had better fashion sense than him. Maybe once we can get to know each other, he can help me out with my wardrobe... excluding the dresses of course, thought Asri. On second thought... if he did, he'd find out about them anyway.
"The shoes are a great match," said Asri cheerfully, "And don't worry about paying for it. Everything in Animus is up for grabs. Well, except for souls. That's a different story."
He then gently took the clothes and shoes from Kasuma and began to walk towards the door. They had to get to the baths... Trash in Animus stank and rotted almost as bad as Hell. He turned back a few steps away, clumsily gesturing for Kasuma to follow, smiling.
"Come on now, we need to get to the baths so you can get this stench off of you. These clothes will be sufficient for your needs."

Kasuma nodded and followed Asarek, he wasn’t sure of what a public bath was, other than it was a bath. However, he usually used his own personal bath that he had just across the hall from his bedroom. It was for the servants too, but they were rarely in there. “What’s a public bath like?” Kasuma asked as he walked behind Asarek. He imagined it to be perhaps like a swimming pool, outside fences with bamboo or something and others could walk in like his servants. “Is it big?”

Asri smiled. He had visited plenty of worlds... some of which included public bathing as part of a certain culture. Mostly, but not always, in the more archaic ones.
"Pretty much," he replied, "it's like a huge tub or pool where people bath together. I don't use them much honestly, but I think that it's more relaxing to have a bath. The Animus one is pretty big... Syl dragged me in there once. You'll like it, lack of customers aside."
They walked for a short while, and several blocks later, Asri led him to a little store cramped in the middle of a bakery and a store selling eccentric computer parts. It was nothing remarkable. Just a tattered, illegible sign and dusty exterior. Dull red brick wall. An empty showcase filled with dust, where only a mindless asian man could be seen behind the counter. Perhaps in its early days it was glorious, now its appearance had fallen into disrepair. The inside was much better. The old owner had hired someone to maintain the baths and facilities, who still worked here to this day.
"Come on," he said, as he swiftly walked towards that miserable-looking shop, "believe it or not, the inside is much better than the outside, since there's a mindless still around that runs around at night repairing everything. The bath's underground, and still looks well. And don't mind the mindless. We don't have to pay for anything here."

Kasuma looked at the outside for a moment, wondering what could have happened. It looked like it was abandoned for 20 years with no one trying to maintain it very well. But, it seemed all of animus was run down and empty with just mindless sitting behind shops and staring off into space. “This is a strange world… Is all of Animus like this?” Kasuma asked as he followed Asarek into the store. It was true, the inside was much better maintenance than the outside, it was almost instantly noticeable. There was a door way, covered by a white cloth that was trimmed on the bottom to look like blocks, there was a symbol on it, perhaps marking whatever lay beyond. Steam seamed to linger out of it, and if you looked closely, it was a long hallway that eventually lead downstairs into the bathhouse.
Not much of the steam seemed to linger in the shop long before vanishing into the cool air out here, but it was easy to tell there was warmth coming from beyond the doorway. Kasuma looked very interested in it. He had never been in a public bath, and he was almost looking forward to it.

"Not really... depends on the number of maintainers around," said Asri, "they're residents that pretty much prevent this city from falling into ruin by repairing the buildings and such. Since it's day, you won't see this buildings's maintainer around anything soon."
He led Kasuma past the doorway and down a long corridor. The farther down they went, they warmer it became. The dull walls soon faded into a vibrant, smooth tiles, with notices and rules posted here and there. Asri had already read them... he had read them on his last trip here. At the end of the hallway were three push-open doors, one saying 'bath,' the other saying 'changing rooms,' along with an image indicating which gender they were for. A person with a dress for female. A plain one for male.
"This door leads to the men's changing rooms, this leads to the bath," explained Asri, "If you want a rinse before going in, there are showers in there, and lockers to put your stuff."
Smiling, he went into the changing rooms, where he dumped Kasuma's new clothes on a nearby bench, before sitting down and sighing, letting his bag, full of medications, fall to the ground.

Kasuma nodded, “Alright…” He walked into the changing room and found a showering booth, there were a few towels hanging from the racks along with lockers against the entire side of the wall, there was also some benches laid out in the middle. The tiles were a midnight blue on the floor, covering only halfway up the walls, everything else seemed to be made out of wood, fairly polished and maintained, so the chances of getting a splinter were slim. He stepped into one of the showers and turned on the shower head. Cool water poured from above, pounding on his skin and cloths. Kasuma started to weave his fingers through his hair, letting some of the nasty junk from the trash cans slid off, as well as his cloths.
It was easy to tell that trash was dirtier than it looked, because nasty brown water leaked from his cloths as the water ran through it, trying to clean him as best as it could. Kasuma internally sighed, this was disgusting. He turned and gently smoothed out his feathers on his wing, soothing the rope burn with the water. After he was partially done, he pulled off his still dirty cloths and let them drop to the floor, planning to wash them later.
Kasuma finished rinsing and turned off the water, taking a towel and wrapping it around his waist. They were unreasonably soft and comfortable, not having that dry itchiness that most towels came with. He silently admired them, wondering if anyone would mind if he took it along after his bath. Kasuma picked up his cloths and wrung them out, letting the water drip from them and slip into the drain in the floor. He walked out of the shower and over to the lockers, putting his damp cloths in one of the middle ones. He was left with a towel wrapped around his waist and a silver locket around his neck. Of course, this piece of jewelry was hidden underneath his cloths at first, unseeable, but it was almost obvious now.
Kasuma sighed and looked over at Asarek whom was sitting on one of the benches. “Are you going to take a bath as well?” he asked. Though Kasuma had seemed to forgotten about his father for the most part, he still didn’t seem much himself. If he were himself, he would have been trying to strip Asarek down and throwing him in the bath with him. But right now, he wasn’t so energetic. He seemed tired and worn, with the addition of the lingering stench of garbage on his skin.

Asri looked at Kasuma, before reaching into his bag and retrieving a thin vial, filled with glowing green liquid. He uncapped it and promplty gulped everything down. Medication. He stood as he casually stowed it away, and took out another, a vial that had a black vicsous liquid in it. He was preparing for the worst. So that he wouldn't have another victim of his illnesses. He gazed at Kasuma, smiling.
"If you would like some company," he said in a friendly tone, "I don't care either way, since I last showered yesterday, but if you want some privacy, I'll stay here and reread the Book of Ilsvari. For the umpteenth time."
Asri continued to gulp down medication after he spoke, many vials of very different liquids. It never hurt to be careful. Considering that he was the Angel of Plagues... well... better not go around killing anyone remotely innocent.

Kasuma smiled, wondering if he should bring up the topic about his conditioner, which, he had forgotten in his cloths. “Since you already took a shower, you don’t have to take a bath with me. It’d probably just be nuisance to wash your hair again anyways.” He said as he rummaged in his damp cloths, finally finding two small hand sized bottles that were black in color and had no label. It was his special formula shampoo and conditioner! Kasuma casually tucked them in his towel side and walked away. If Asarek didn’t want to come, then he didn’t want too, but that meant he could use all the stuff for himself.
He walked out of the changing rooms and into the bath, pushing open the door with one hand. The sound of his admiring voice could be heard from the entrance as he ‘wow’ed at it. The tile was of whites and purples and reds. Designs planted out with the colors on the tile. The bath was absolutely enormous, there was even bamboo planted around some areas and natural rocks in the bath. Shelves were lines with shampoos, soaps, and other things. Towels laid folded on a table neatly near the shelves. The room was steamy, but it was easy to see all the decoration and such.

Asri gulped down the last of his medication, applied hand sanitizer and shoved the bad into a nearby locker. No lock was needed since there wasn't anyone around to steal anything. He sighed. To go or not to go? Ah well, he might as well keep Kasuma company since he looked so lonely.
Working fast, he took off his clothes, unbound his hair and wrapped a towel around his waist, before heading back to where Kasuma was, just in time to hear Kasuma's cry of admiration. He smiled and put a hand on Kasuma's shoulder.
"Nice, isn't it? The water's warm and nice, so have no fear."
