“It’s way bigger than my bathroom…” Kasuma said in wonder. Sure, his bathroom was pretty big, but this was HUGE, absolutely ginormous. Kasuma’s bathroom was about as big as a pool, this one was four pools expanded together with the addition of an outside feel and free fluffy towels and bathing stuff. “I should come to local baths more often…” he said with a smile. “Since you’re going to take a bath too, you can use some of my shampoo and conditioner.” Kasuma said to Asarek, then walked over to the bath stepping in and taking off his towel, hanging it over the edge as he stood in the warm bath. It was absolutely wonderful… perfect temperature and the steam wasn’t too thick either.

Asri smiled and sat down next to him, still with his towel on, dipping his feet into the water. It was nice, comforting, warm. The maintainer here had prepared it well. This was a big bath... perhaps in the past, it had some social function, now it was a lonely place that only served the occasional visitor.
"I thought you might appreciate some company," said Asri, "I thought about it, and I believe that bathing alone won't help cheer you up."
He smiled and chuckled.
"I'm glad you like it. Syl loves it here. A bit too much I think," he said, gesturing at a bird's nest snuggled in the corner, int he branches of a shrub. In it lay three spherical eggs. Yet to be hatched. Under a heater that kept them incubated. "Syl has a habit of adopting birds and water dragons, even when it can't tell properly whether they're really abandoned or when their mother is just off hunting. I'd rather not contemplate where it got those eggs."

Kasuma looked over at the nest, “Oh… I see.” He said, “I guess it’s intentions are well and considerate and all since it cares for creatures in such a way.” He started to wash his hair, using his shampoo to massage his scalp and slip it through the length of his hair between his fingers, combing it deeply in the roots. He almost let out a sigh, feeling better with the warm water soaking into his scratches and small wounds soothing the pain away. His feathers bristled in the water, enjoying the warmth and cleanliness of the bath. Kasuma didn’t much worry about anything right now. But he did think about the water weight in his wing when he got out, which would be a bit painful considering he might have sprained it.

Asri smiled at Kasuma, before taking off of the towel and slipping into the bath. Smiling, he reached for the soap and began to wash himself. He had only washed his hair yesterday; Syl had wanted him out of the hospital fast for another loony adventure. Naturally, one that involved exploring Animus's nooks and crannies, playing pranks on mindless, and various... other things. Which Asri din't want to think about now. He watched Kasuma, worried, hoping that the man's thoughts wouldn't stray back to his father.
"I'm glad to see you enjoying yourself Kasuma," said Asri, "How's your wing doing?"

“My wing?” Kasuma looked over at it, seeing the rough red areas from the rope burn. “It’s okay.. I guess.” he replied. “Other than feeling like someone was trying to rip my wing off, it’s still intact.” He smiled bitter sweetly.

Asri looked at them... at least they were more durable than his own wings. They were very fragile, and his resources were limited. He slowly approached Kasuma, looking concerned.
"My skills are limited concerning wounds, but if you want, I can try treating them," said Asri, "it's the least I can do."
