What did you do? <voice>I just helped you out, dude. You panicked so I didn't have other options than posses you.
Are you going to kill her? <voice> If she does anything that might be dangerous to us, then yes. If I don't He might woke up and then things won't turn out well at all... ... Well you know this sh*t...Don't mind me. But I trust her so let's see where we end up.
"Be thankfull that he trust you, woman. Still be prepeared that I will claim your head if there's anything that would danger us in here."
Then leaving him Phobia is left little bit stunned. He managed to say " Well shall we go " with forced smile anyway.

"Lets.", Veronica said as she motioned towards a door.
Opening the door, Veronica led Phobia before a forest. Looking up, a white haze slowly fell from the sky. "Look up above you.", Veronica said. "That's Animus as it descended to Earth. Animus is open to almost every world. Go and pick a planet, any planet, in our galaxy, even a gas giant, and there's a spot of Animus right there. When it descended to our world, it also descended to the worlds of countless others. In one moment that spanned through and cut across the very essence of time itself.".

Quessing that there would be something unordinary. Still he was little bit dazled after entering to the "room".
" So you can go anywhere from Animus too then?" He asked
Soon after that he climed to the tree near by. There, he continued. " ..Is Animus some kind of realm between everything then? That would be most logical answer, I think"

Veronica took a seat on the grass before the tree and gazed up at Phobia as he climbed up. "To answer your first question: logically speaking, it is possible, but you can't. Again, it goes back to the Animus' purpose: to fulfill the lost with the opportunity to do-an-or finish what they could not before their time here. As for your second question, in some ways Animus is in between everything. There's no up or down in terms of where you. This site is the only place between heaven and hell that is not of earth, or anything that can be constructed earthly.".

" Heaven and Hell, are you kidding me? Like should I believe that there's God and Satan and alll those angels and demons too? Give me a break."
Also every world is just like one want's it. There' no fate, karma or what so ever. There's just bunch of people under mass psychology and hypnosis. 'Power of Masses' That's what changes everything."
looking sky through the leafs he was about to recall something but he failed and that thought was lost.

"Hell is a subjective yet divine entity.", Veronica replied. "And there is a God. And angels and demons. You will encounter them during your time here. They are residents just like you and I.". Veronica rose and motioned towards the tree. "Would you care for some coffee?".

He took his book from pocket of his and started looking it. He openned it from the end and turned few blank pages until he saw some text. That bugged him as he could say that that too should have been blank.
'... Would you like some coffee?' Veronica's question ended his thoughts. "Yes,please. Black." Pausing for a moment he continued. " You have told me much that relates to the macig and fantasy. How's the technologicall side of Animus then?"

In that instant, Veronica and Phobia were sitting alone in an empty coffee shop. Two cups of coffee were placed before them, cups that would never run empty. Veronica took a pack of Marlboro's from the pocket of her blazer and lit it. "Would you care for one?", Veronica asked.
Veronica took a packet of brown sugar and cream and dipped it into her coffee. Taking a sip and a drag, Veronica answered Phobia. "Now, as for the technological side of Animus. As far as I know, its non-existent. I mean, there's hardly any power here and you have to take into mind the notion that Animus became what it was now decades before the internet came into prominence. What power we had, we harvested it and generated it. When Johnny was still around, he'd power our apartment with a generator.".
Veronica paused in that moment and closed her eyes. Johnny... It had just occurred to her that was gone. The notion that she was never going to see him again unless he found a way to come back quietly destroyed her for a moment. Veronica opened her eyes and took another sip of coffee and a drag off her cigarette.
"Look outside.", Veronica said as he turned towards the windows. "The people outside are the first settlers to these parts. In a few moments, you will see them form the township. We are looking into the 1300's, Phobia.".

"I don't smoke. Too leathal for me." He replied when she offerred them. " Any pro hunter could smell it almost everywhere. Smoking kills faster than anything else." He took his cup of coffee and looked into it, thinking nothing. While drinking it he listened Veronica.
When she talked about tecnologys situation he felt something odd." Civilization without technology? It should be joke athough in here, Animus, it just might be more than bad dream...."
He didn't need to look out side to confirm that they were in 14th century. Even the fact that his coffee cup was still as full as it was before didn't bug him anymore. He was outside of his own logic, out of his world. The thing was if he wouldn't adabt to it he would be dead for sure.
"What about political side of Animus. Whos is leader or leaders. Powerfull factions and such."

"Ever since the people outside came here, they've been religiously motivated.", Veronica replied as she finished another sip. "So much of the town's politics drew heavily from religion. The local religion was called the Lucious Patesco, latin for the Light Bearers. It was a mixture of Christianity and an earlier local pagan religion. Strangely democratic for its time, really. During a former life, I was once the Nica Merchant, the high priestess of the Lucious Patesco. I was there when the Black Goat took over and turned the city into what is now. What you have to understand about Animus is that its a living being, an entity that descended to Earth not long after creation, and has since served as the refuge for the lost who sought redemption. The rise of township weakened it, and that's how the Black Goat exploited it.".
Veronica looked back outside as the town progressed to the 20th century; a brief moment when life actually dominated the plane.

" You have mentioned this 'Black goat' coupe of times. Who is he? Is he strong and is he leader now?" After few sips he continued. " I would like to know about most powerfull factions and their top members. " Thinking for the moment he said. " That's pretty much all I think that I would need to know about politics."
He looked Veronica as he took another sip.

"The Black Goat is long gone.", Veronica replied as she lit another cigarette. "The Black Goat overtook Animus some thirty years ago. With it, he took my life, my daughter's, and everyone else in the city. Those mindless you see around you, they were once residents. People like you and me. Most of them were original residents who witnessed the transition, others were strangers, just like ourselves, who were called to the city and who lost their minds and gave in. We survive on our will and our will alone. There are no longer any powerful factions, its just an assortment of residents all banding together. The same as its been since I was called here a year ago. The Black Goat was a rouge demon who was the first and last of his kind. Collectively, we killed him in a powerful struggle.".

so no technology as there isn't power to operate them. Also there isn't any powerfull factions. I should be able to use zombie scenario with litle modifications. He thought. Next thing would be geting food and having proper gear.
"About economics, I think that it's 'take what you can', am I right? Also is there any place that would be suitable for farming?"

"Pretty much.", Veronica replied as she leaned back and took another drag. "As for farming, there are areas in the outlands of town, but I'm really not quite sure what you can cultivate there. For a year, we survived on canned goods and bread, some of us made on the side.".

"Then what about suply of armors, weapons and explosives? Also could you tell me if there's some zones that aren't as 'healthy' as some others? He asked puting his cup back to the table and leaving it there.
"They still are illusions." He thought.
