Johnny stepped into the motel as he shot back a confused look to Arqus and replied, "I guess that'll do, man!"... God, the kid had heavy shit to deal with.
Johnny stopped before room four and said, "We're here."

Syl nodded. It knew what Trace was intending now. Showing off a pistol that could hurt the Black Goat, heading straight for his residence... Oh dear, thought Syl, he wants to kill the Black Goat. And he even knows where his residence is. Either he's been doing more exploring than me, or he's been more involved in Animus then what he's mentioned, in its history, with its entities... if he knows what mansion belongs the Black Goat, of all people
Despite its thoughts, Syl's expression remained imprassive. It would follow Trace, not to kill the Black Goat, but to figure out what he's up to, learn, watch what happens and take a break from Arqus and Johnny. Something was going on here, and Syl wanted to find out what, hopefully without having Trace on its back. It didn't plan to interfere - it only wanted to avoid any unnecessary trouble for itself.
"Lead the way," said Syl impassively.

Anya came up behind Johnny, she didn't particularly like the idea of what might happen in that room, nothing good happened the last time, going into the future. "I hope you know what your doing."

Phoebe was disappointed that Trace didn't know what the Goat, thing was. No matter, if they found this being first, she'd find out. "Move already."

Trace took the lead, heading off into the centre of the town. They'd have to head through there in order to get to the mansion. Trace was hoping that the Goat would have already taken care of Veronica by the time they got there. It would be one less problem for him worry about, and one step closer to his objective.
"You'd both better be ready for a fight," Trace said, a hint of pleasure in his voice at the thought of a battle. "Cause I dont see the Goat going down without a fight."

Phoebe followed Trace, she didn't care about the outcome. "Mmm, the idea of a fight sends tingles down my back." She giggled, delighted.

Syl nodded.
"I do not wish to fight," it said impassively, "but if you need them, I can cast some support spells."

"Mmm, the idea of a fight sends tingles down my back."
"Girl, you got one sick sense of whats fun." Trace said with a laugh.
"I do not wish to fight, but if you need them, I can cast some support spells."
Trace turned to Syl while continuing walking. They were minutes from the town centre, and it wouldn't be long until they were at the mansion.
"Kid, it doesn't really matter if you wish to fight, cause wishes dont come true. The only guarentee tonight is that if you dont go against the Goat with your mind focused on his death, then your the only one who will breath their last breath when all is said and done."

Syl smiled briefly. It didn't want to fight, but it if it really had to, it would. It knew that this wouldn't end well, and it knew that this would only advance Trace's plans. Still, it was curious, and it wanted to know what would happen if the one who had such power over Animus would die. It woudl be interesting indeed, and it would provide it with a first-hand view of how Trace and Phoebe would fight. Still, it thought, I can trust Kiel to have a backup plan. I won't doubt it again. I don't know what it is, but I know that it'll work.
"Fair enough, Trace, fair enough," said Syl, as impassively as before. "I know that he's not the type to conveniently commit suicide."

"We're here."
That was Arqus' cue to summon Bremmen. He took several steps back from Anya and Johnny. He closed his eyes and imagined himself standing in a dark room with Bremmen's monstrous form. In his mind Bremmen was smiling down at him, pleased that he had no choice but ask for his help.
"Well?" To his surprise, the image of Bremmen in his mind spoke, hands crossed over his ripped, glittering diamond chest. "I'm waiting."
Arqus felt so little, so useless. He can't believe he had to summon the demon out to help his friends, to get Veronica back. He was starting to feel like he was nothing without Bremmen's powers.
"I will you out." He stated, softly.
When Arqus' eyes opened, it was no longer him staring back at Anya and Johnny. It was another person, another being.
Bremmen has taken over Arqus' body.
The innocence in his face was gone. It was still the same angelic facade, but this one had mischief and malice on it. Bremmen gave his companions a quick look with his lazy blue eyes.
These people are not his friends, they were Arqus'. He doesn't feel the need to catch up and have a decent talk with them. He was summoned to read spells, not mingle.
"Let's get started." Bremmen spoke, as he gracefully entered the room. He spoke with Arqus' voice, but it sounded more confident and commanding.

"I know that he's not the type to conveniently commit suicide."
"I wouldn't talk about that topic Syl. Your god squad friends may get offended. It is a sin of course." Trace said, the final words coming out with more than a hint of sarcasm.
They were no walking through the centre of the town. Trace glanced around at the residents of Animus, almost comatose in their actions. These were the type of subordinate fools that God would smile upon.

Phoebe watched the faces of the residents, their seeming emptiness bothered her, she wanted to destroy them all, just to hear them screaming. She wondered if they would even react though. "Boring topic," she stated, hearing what Trace and Syl were talking about. "Oh so boring."

"You must be Bremman.", Johnny spoke as he opened the door to room four.
Johnny stepped inside to find that the room had neatened up since their last visit. "Looks like someone's already been here." Johnny motioned for the bed and pushed it aside to reveal the symbol beneath. Beside the symbol lay a blazer, a woman's blazer. Johnny crouched down to pick it up... It smelled all too familiar... Veronica... "They were here." Johnny took the blazer and held it close to his chest as he rose, turned to Bremman, and said, "Come on, man. Work your magic."
<***>
Veronica stood pinned against the wall with the Black Goat before her as she asked him, "What do you want with me?"
The Black Goat pressed himself closer before her and pressed her lips against his. In that instant, a rush of memories and emotions came before her in a sensation all to good to resist. Veronica kissed him back. The Black Goat pulled away from her and began to nuzzle kisses over her neck, as Veronica gave herself to him even further as she freed herself from her blazer.
The Black Goat took her into his arms and opened the portal. "Come on now... They can't hurt us now." The portal grew bigger as it began to shroud them. Veronica looked into his eyes and kissed him back and in that instant, they vanished.

"Here we are." Trace said as they approached a large worn down mansion. There was no light coming from the building and it looked as if it had been abandoned for years. Trace knew that the Goat had once resided here, but from the looks of things it hadn't been resided in for decades.
Then again, you could never be sure with the Goat, and it was always worth checking it out.

"Come on, man. Work your magic."
Bremmen didn't even bother asking Johnny and Anya to step aside while he works his "magic". He doesn't reallly care if anyone of them gets harmed because they're standing on his way. For him, what's important is he helped, and it's no longer his concern if they weren't careful enough to get out of the way.
Bremmen stood before the sign on the floor. He raised both hands over it, closed his eyes. He was standing there like that for a few minutes.
Then the things inside the room started floating. His long golden locks levitated like air was blowing from under him. The symbol on the floor started glowing.
Bremmen's thin lips commenced moving as he recited summoning spells and chants in Old Norse, the language of the ancient vikings. It was a completely different spell from what Johnny and the others recited when the opened up the portal, but Bremmen figured it should work just fine.
He was invoking the powers of Muspellheim, the world of the fire demons and the guidance of Niflheim or the world of the primordial element of ice and the dead.
As he recited his chants, dark smoke started rising from the glowing symbol as a glittering black portal opened.
