Using what power she has left, Veronica holds the debris over as she slowly crawls to safety. Once a couple feet away, she finishes her powers and drops the debris. Looking above as she crawls for stability, Veronica watches Fleur fight the General.

Tears escaped her eyes, when Fleur heard what the Red General called her. A whore. When all she did was follow orders from him, using her powers to seduce men. And now, he calls her a whore.
The Red General saw Veronica crawl out of the debris and uttered, "How well do you know this woman, this meta-human whore you're fighting side by side with?"
Fleur stayed on the ground, crying. She still couldn't believe what she was hearing.
"She seduced your boyfriend and succeeded." The Red general divulged, with a light laughter. "It would probably destroy your precious little heart...Veronica...once I told you the evil Miss D'Aubigne here did with your boyfriend."
The Red General laugh. His voice echoed inside the half destroyed hanger. His eyes looked down at Fleur like she was some dirt.
"She kissed him...and she rode him..." He continued.
Fleur got up to the Red General's surprise. She got hold of his right mechanical arm and conjured all the strength in her. With one foot up, resting on the side of the general's body, she tried pulling his mechanical arm with all her might, off.
Bits of exposed wire sparked as Fleur slowly ripping the arm off his torso. The Red General screamed in pain as a mixture of blood and motor oil spilled out of the gaping wound.

Veronica spread her arms out as she emptied herself and opened a portal.
"Is this true?", Veronica asked as she approached them with her gun drawn. "Tell me the truth, what happened between Johnny and you?". Veronica fired her gun at the Red General and practically emptied it on him.
Stepping away, Veronica brought the portals beside the Red General, and slowly, the portals sucked him up in every direction and split him into small, bloody, bits of bone, meat, and machine.

Fleur watched as her beloved Red General got sucked, bit by bit inside the portal Veronica created. Her heart ached as she witnessed his painful demise in the hand of a woman. She remembered a fortune teller saying that no man shall ever defeat the Red General in battles.
The fortune teller was right. Two women brought him down.
The diamond form the demon Bremmen lend her, vanished. She was back in her human form again. The tears on her face more noticeable now, than in her diamond form. Veronica asked her all the questions. She couldn't bear look at her in the eye.
"I'm sorry." Was all she muttered.

Veronica could tell from Fleur's body movements that she was being sincere. Veronica turned away from her and said, "If I didn't have any more compassion in me, I would have disregarded your apology, and we both know that I do have my reasons. You lied to me. You went against the very nature of the only relationship I hold sacred and you violated that. But I forgive you."
Veronica turned to her as she continued. "I'm not a saint, under possession, I've done things that I am not proud of and that I am not ready to face, so I can understand where you're coming from." Veronica slowly approached her and said, "Please don't lie to me again.".
Veronica opened her arms and hugged Fleur.

Fleur was surprised with the hug. She was expecting a slap on the face, not a hug. Veronica was a saint, she thought.
She couldn't bring herself to hug her back. Maybe it was the guilt. The guilt that she liked every moment she spent kissing Johnny and that given the chance she would do it again. Or maybe it's the thought of losing the red general. The thought that he used her and her abilities to his advantage. She felt so dumb and dirty.
Fleur broke free from Veronica's hug, confused.

Syl got to its feet, nursing its injuries, tears streaming from its eyes. I have to be strong, it thought, I can't really on Kiel to protect me all the time... that's probably why Kiel's left me alone so much... I just... I want to make it proud.
It shook its head as it walked forward at an agonizingly slow pace. A cloud of loneliness hovered above it, driven by Syl's feelings of ineptitude and inadequacy, as well as its sadness and suffering.
"Must I force myself to bear this pain on my own?" it asked itself, "Must I be condemned be always be a spectator, always watching, but not interfering? Must I be punished for what I may have down by having to watch other people suffer?!"
Already, Syl felt the boundaries of its sanity starting to crack. Its mind was falling apart... these emotions were just too much... if something was not done soon, Syl would... The thought of going insane made Syl want to panic. Syl wanted desperately to climb out of the hole that it had dug itself into, but it didn't know how. It could barely control itself.
"Someone," it said, "save me... save... me... save... help... me..."
It repeated those words, again and again, until a silhouette appeared in front of it. That of a man with long dark hair and gold-coloured clothing, vaguely resembling priest robes. Syl drew closer, then seeing his smooth face and green eyes, as well as the white and black book he held in his left hand. The wind blew around it, causing his hair to blow around, temporarily obscuring his face, before revealing it again.
The realization hit Syl. Memories came floding back, of the past, of their adventures with...
"... Asarek... I mean... Asri?"
No response. Syl didn't bother aura checking, it just ran toward the figure, reaching out for him, desperate for some support, desperate to fight back the loneliness that gripped its mind and threatened its sanity.
"Please..." it whispered, "please... is it really you?"

From the darkness I just sat there watching, not in fear but in awe for some reason I was mesmerised by the whole converstaion and the big fight that insued then the emotional forgiveness the two ladies then proceeded to engage on.
I step out clapping clumsily "BRAVO! BRAVO my wonderful little actors if I had the authority and the oscars themselves I would surely consider giving you all some" I felt like asking who exactly is the Red General but I feel I would have been striked for making a remark like that. Seeing Fleur break away from Veronica I ran up to Veronica putting an arm across her shoulders, "You did the right thing love, just give it time you shall see" I knock her chin gently and look on to the confused image of Fleur. "So my lovelies," Realising that they had not seen me through the whole facade, and that I probably have overstepped my boundaries by talking to them like this after all that's happened. Bugger it, I thought, I have my rights "What comes next in our wonderful adventure?" Every moment I start to feel like my old self again, I smile to myself, then collapse face first to the ground blood trickling out from beneath my mask, there's a gaping hole in the back of my head. My eyes still wide open I reach back and stick my fingers in the hole pulling out to look at the blood, "It must have been those toy soldiers chasing me in here, I guess they did tag me HAHAHAAA!" Looking up from the ground at the two ladies, staring them right in the eyes as I cackle madly on the ground.

Fleur looked at the man with the mask with sad eyes. He was Veronica's friend. Suddenly she felt so lonely. Realizing now that she doesn't have the Red General anymore. She's alone in this city.
"What comes next in our wonderful adventure?"
She looked away when the masked man raised the question.
"What's next for me?" Fleur thought to herself. "What's going to happen to me?"
The man crashed on the ground, blood gushing out of the wound at the back of his head. She furrowed her eyebrows, bewildered at the man's reaction. He was laughing.
Fleur knelt down next to the man and asked "Are you alright? We should probably get you something to stop the bleeding."

"Hehehee....HAHAHAHAAHAAA!" I lash out swinging my legs and rising to my feet in one fluid motion. "Oh, please don't make a fuss over this little thing?" Motioning to the hole in my head, "It really is nothing my french suave friend, I have suffered much worse.... hahaha"
I turn to look at both of them, first one then the other. I do this for about 10 seconds then bolt off in the opposite direction "CATCH ME IF YOU CAN!"

She watched as the masked man bolted out of what remained of the hanger. Fleur gazed sideways to Veronica and then proceeded towards the door where the man ran off.
She leaned on the frame of the door, staring into the battle field with red rimmed eyes. She began walking, not a care in the world if she would get caught in the cross fire. Suddenly, a group of soldiers saw her.
They all came to her aide, asking her if she's okay or if she's hurt. They were also asking about General Payne. A static on one of the soldier's walkie takie went off. Fleur asked for it and the soldier obediently gave it to her.
"This is Command Chief Master Sargeant Fleur D'Aubigne." She introduced herself on the communicator. "I am ordering a cease fire."

Veronica had watched Tommy is a bit of a daze. Granted, he was in the hanger, and she should have known better, but what he just did must have been one of the most random things she had ever witnessed.
Veronica walked up to Fleur and said, "Its over, huh?". Veronica looked at the soldiers and said, "There really isn't any way back to Earth." Veronica extended her hand to Fleur and said, "I can't promise that this city will be peaceful, but I can promise to support you and whatever is left of your men if you wish to stay.".

Syl ran toward Asri, but when it got there, the figure has disappeared. Tears continued to roll down its cheeks. "Asri..."
Syl ran forward, driven by hope and desperation. Where was Kiel when it needed it? Oh, right. This an attempt for Syl to become more independent. Well, whatever it was, it failed miserably. Why did Veronica and Daemon have to die? Why did they have to put it through all of that misery. Did having the will to live equal living in misery? On one hand Syl didn't want to leave Kiel behind or cause it grief. On the other it wanted a way out of its misery.
"Why doesn't anyone care?" whispered Syl, so quietly that no one else could here, "must I be all alone while Kiel's busy? Is it true that... I... don't really have any friends here?"
It began to run forward once again. Still sobbing. It didn't care whether it ran into small groups of soldiers or whether it ran through empty streets. It just ran, nursing its pain. Why? Why? Why?
I'm dying, thought Syl, as it mind cracked further, if something is not done, I'll die...
When Syl had at last decided to stop running, it fell to its knees, in front of a smalll patrol of soldiers. They were too bewildered to shoot at it. Then, Syl screamed. It was loud, incredibly ear-piercing and filled with pain, so clear, that it could be heard over a wide area. After it was done, Syl collapsed, still conscious, but in a shocked daze, eyes wide and minimal breathing.

Fleur didn't say anything, though she heard everything Veronica told them. She held her hand, as if to accept her offer of support.
She looked at the faces of the soldiers assembled around them. They were young, and only wanted to help and serve their country. Now they're all here. Stuck in God knows where. Away from their friends, away from their family, away from their loved ones.
"Where are the other generals?" Fleur asked the soldiers.
"They're all dead, Commander." One soldier advised.
"Call everyone and have them come here immediately. We have important things to talk about." She added.
