Asri blushed a bit as she hugged him. Unusual, she was. Hugging like that, and him making no move to stop her. Most angels in Heaven, after hearing of his other name, er... title... often made the decision to stay well aware from him unless they were forced to sit next to him in court. Asri could clearly remember the looks on the jury's faces when he showed to work in a miniskirt, dressed as a woman and by all means appearing as such. What's more, he didn't realize it until he felt them staring at him.
"Hm... There's no need to apologize my lady Selice," said Asri, "if it makes you happy, and if it doesn't kill me, it's fine."
He gently put a hand on her shoulder, taking care to ensure that it wouldn't touch her skin. If he touched it, his body would likely die... and there the trouble would begin.
"I encourage you to visit me," said Asri, "I'm afraid the mindless here aren't terribly chatty, and it's been a while since I've met an angel that... well... was this nice to me. I have friends there, but my relationship with them is mostly of professional nature."
He smiled as he glanced around the house.
"Now how about we get started on renovating this place, hmm?"

Selice added one more quick hug before withdrawing her embrace. "I can't understand why people wouldn't enjoy speaking with you. You have been nothing but kind since I met you, and I feel the need to inform you that it is very rare for angels or anyone to be kind for me. Only Michael was kind to me back home...and Lucifer....but we don't talk about that" she said softly. "So I shall visit you, I promise" she said with a warm smile.
"Starting to fix the place up is a wonderful idea" Selice beamed. "Is there a hardware shop near here? or a Home Depot perhaps?" she asked, walking to the front door before taking wing once more.

Asri chuckled and smiled gently at her, as he followed her out. While Selice brought out her wings quickly and easily, Asri had to walk until streets before he could take flight. He hated it when his wings broke, as it took precious magic to repair them, and time.
"It's complicated, but suffice to say, the first Sphere of Heaven that I became acquainted with was one stuffed chock full with religious zealots that will happily chop off your head if you utter a word against god."
He shook his head, smiling shyly. Lucifer and Michael were famous figures in Heaven, Michael being known for being god's favourite and Lucifer being the one thrown down after refusing to bow down to humans... least that's what he heard. Asri had never met them... seen them, maybe, but he had never spoken to them... his position in Heaven not helping in the least in meeting legends. Not that they would have much interest in him. Asri did admit to causing deadly pandemics sometimes but... well...
"I'll admit that there are some nice people there," said Asri softly, "but the ones I found can be counted on one hand. Even so, I'm happy that you've found people that are kind to you... I remember hearing of Michael and Lucifer a while back; never met them though. My rank in Heaven... is a tricky thing indeed. Although... I'm glad to have someone to chat with here; it gets rather lonely to be cooped up in the lab for so many hours... and it's rare that I run into another angel in a place such as this."
He chuckled and pointed eastwards.
"But forgive my rambling," he said, "I know where there's a suitable store down there."
Asri then laughed and did a quick loop in the air, crying out in joy. He loved flying just as much as Syl did; it was only that Syl was nowadays used to walking and because some of Animus's streets were too narrow for him to fly in that they mostly ran on the ground everywhere. To be able to fly freely like this was a joy that he never took for granted. Except in Heaven. But that was another story.

"please, you have done nothing that you need to apologize for" she said with a warm smile. "But please, lead the way" she added, gently patting his back. Selice's thoughts drifted back to heaven. It had been thousands of years ago. The almighty had almost banished Selice to hell along with Lucifer, thinking that she had also wished to defect. If it hadn't been for Michael she would have become a demon.
She quickly snapped back into the moment, not wanting to think about the inquisition all those years ago.

Asri nodded and smiled bacjk at Selice before quickly slowing down and descending towards a large store with a half-cilled parking speed. The hardware store wasn't very far from Selice's house; hence why it was a short flight. For Asri though, he had to carefully pick a location wide enough for him to descend and land... without breaking his wings in the process. This located turned out to be at the far edge of the parking lot, where there were far fewer cars.
After he landed and retracted his wings, he waved to Selice and grinned.
"Come on, my lady. The home and renovation supplies await!"

Selice carefully descended and followed after Asri, entering the store with him. "Let us see.... We shall need paint and wood polish and timber, nails and hammers. Maybe a miracle for good measure" she chuckled. "If I can replenish my powers enough I'll be able to do most of the renovation by my powers alone, but still, it's nice to get down and dirty every once in awhile" she added, grabbing a large shopping cart as she began to walk down the aisles, grabbing home renovation products as she went. "You know this reminds me, I'm going to have to take a look at the furniture that was left behind. Some of it might be well beyond repair" she said with a thoughtful look on her face.

Asri chuckled as he led her in and followed around. He didn't have enough home-renovation knowledge to do the handyman work himself; the phsyical work was usually reserved for Kiel, Syl's eldest sibling and the strongest of the trio. In fact, he didn't even know what he was tossing into the cart as he followed Selice. Whether or not she would find the random items useful, Asri had no clue. He was just trying to help.
"That sounds lovely my lady," said Asri, "and if there's anything I can do to help, please ask away."
He paused briefly to look at the selection of hammers, screws, glues, lawnmowers, light bulbs, lightings, toilets, fans, showers, kitchen stuff and tons of more stuff. Asri absentmindedly tossed a bunch of light bulb packages into the cart before continuing on.
"You can do miracles, Selice?" asked Asri, "and how can you recharge your powers? Perhaps there's somewhere here that'll do just that."

"I have done a few in my day. Nothing huge. But still, a miracle is a miracle. And as for the recharge, I'm not totally sure how it works. After I use up a certain amount of my power I start to get really weak, but staying in a blessed area, such as a church, it seems to replenish. It's really quite handy" she said with a warm smile. Selice made her way to the paint aisle and began to look through the selections of exterior paint. "ooh this color is lovely" she said softly. Selice pulled the sample out of the card holder and held it out to Asri. The color was a warm heather grey.

Asri smiled at Selice.
"I'm glad that you can do miracles," said Asri, "if you want to recharge your powers though, there is an abandoned church here. It's only a short flight away. If you need to recharge, I can lead you there."
Asri smiled at her choice of colour as he looked over the options himself. He liked the warm shades of gold and green, but he decided that he would let Selice decide. She was the homeowner. Thus, she should the one to decide. Although... he honestly felt that greys were a bit drab...
"That looks nice," said Asri, smiling, looking at her with a gentle expression on his face, "I just hope we'll find stuff that'll go along with with it... Hmm... What's your favourite colour, my lady?"

Selice thought for a few moments. "You know when the sun is rising, and the sky is that really pretty purply orangy red color? That is my favorite color" she said softly, still picking through the other colors, just in case she missed one she liked better than the grey. "But midnight blue is lovely as well" she added, picking a soft sage green from the card holder. "Hmm, this one has potential as well" she murmured.

Asri smiled. Her choice of favourite colour resembled Syl's. Syl loved all shades of red, but it especially loved the vibrant, strong shades. It once said to Asri that those vibrant shades came most close to the meaning behind red - love, passion, strength, hope... Apparently the word 'warning' was no where to be found in Syl's vocabulary, Asri joked to himself. How ironic.
"Despite the way I dress, gold and green are my favourite colours," he said cheerfully, "I think that this shade of green is lovely. What other candidates are there, my lady?"

"well, there is this grey, the green, and maybe a nice sand color" she said softly, still flipping through the little cards. A dizzy spell hit Selice suddenly. She leaned against the card rack, gingerly holding her spinning head in her hand.

Asri the colours carefully. He would have picked the green, but he didn't want to project his desires onto Selice. It was her house; she should choose. A few moments later, he glanced at Selice leaning against the card rack, holding her head in her hands? Was she dizzy? Asri felt concerned for her, but didn't quite know what to do about the situation. Treating angels was generally different than treating humans... what was he supposed to do? Asri wasn't used to treating angels other than himself...
"Selice... are you alright?" asked Asri, looking concerned for her.
He took a step forward to help her, but stopped upon remembering Selice's dangerous ability, that she could kill with a touch. It saddened Asri that he couldn't touch her... that it would only take a mere accident for her to cause his death. Yet... Selice was among the more cheerful angels that he had encountered, and he was already starting to enjoy being with her.

Selice nodded. "I'll be alright, thank you Asri" she said softly. "Just a dizzy spell, it shall pass" she added, looking up at Asri with a warm smile. She prayed it was nothing more than a dizzy spell.

Asri looked at Selice with concern, with a worried expression on his face. It was never a good thing when an angel got sick. Ever. Especially if it was him. That was... unpleasant... why else did he have to heavily medicate himself on a daily basis?
"Please, Selice," he said, "perhaps we should finish quickly and head back to your home to rest. Please, I don't want this to get any worse. Especially since I'm not used to treating angels other than myself."
He wanted to put a hand on her shoulder, but refraied from doing so, still wary of invading her personal space. He wanted to help, but he didn't know how.... what was he supposed to do?!
