Stunned, she stood there frozen. Her eyes glued to a man in a black robe walking her way. He spoke to her and his tone sounded like he's known her for a long time.
Fleur turned her face the other way when the stranger stroked her cheek with his hand. Her eyes looked at his fierce brown eyes, confused.
"Wh-who are you?" She asked hugging the black leather bound journal closer to her chest.

"You see my face.", The Archbishop replied. "But how can you not me? Who are you?". The Archbishop let her speak and gave her this chance, she was the only person who he would privilege this to.

"I-I'm sorry...but I don't know you." Fleur replied, her perfectly shaped eyebrows furrowed.
She felt weird, baffled even by this stranger. He's one of those men who frightens Fleur. She's a strong courageous woman, being trained in the army and all, but something about this man made Fleur cautious of her actions and words.
"You must have mistaken me for someone else." Fleur added, bowing her head down.
Like a shy school girl, still holding the journal close to her chest, Fleur began walking past the stranger.

The Archbishop knew who she was... She was Fleur, his wife. Her face, her clothes, her actions, the sound of her voice, her scent... He just knew.
The Archbishop placed his hand beneath her chin and drew his head close for a kiss.

Veronica and Sara were close to Fleur's apartment when suddenly, Sara caught the sight of The Archbishop kissing Fleur and pulled Veronica back. Pressed against the front of a building, Sara said, "It slipped my mind... I don't know how... But it just did... I guess its because I haven't seen you both in so long, I forgot."
Veronica motioned before Sara and held her shoulders and asked, "Sara, what is going on?"
Sara looked up at Veronica and replied, "The Archbishop, he controls Animus now, for the most part...". Sara turned her head back to the alleyway. "Once she's clear, we take and we make a run for the church.".

Gaudi arrived in the streets of Animus, standing before the tower Mr. Psycho had constructed. He waited for the girls to arrive as he contemplated his actions. He didn't need to do this, really. If the residents were strong enough to remove the Black Goat, then taking out one of their own should not be a problem.
Granted, it was a cowardly act. But he had to show himself, and more importantly, he had to show the girl, Chystabelle, just what he was capable of, and what he knew, and what the others did not.

More than ever, she was taken a back. It was the last thing she would expect. A stranger kissing her in the middle of an empty street. It doesn't sound so romantic at all.
If she wanted to, she could've released the toxins in her saliva to poison this guy. But Fleur's not a murderer and she isn't happy with death.
She pulled away from the kiss and slapped the man.
"Comment défi vous!" She exclaimed, wiping her lips with the back of hand. Then she muttered a few harsh words in french, looking at the man, disgusted.

Those were his wife's lips... That was his wife's taste... He did not understand. Until, he sensed something... Someone he had not felt in a long time... A presence all to familiar to him.
"Nica...", The Archbishop muttered as turned Veronica's way, opened his hand, and violently dragged Veronica before him.
Sara quickly stumbled next to her mother's side as two orbs of energy covered both her hands. "Let my mother go!", Sara shouted.
The Archbishop giggled and replied, "Sara, I should have know.".

The sound of Sara and Veronica's voice somehow comforted Fleur. At least she wasn't alone. It happened all to fast, the stranger opened his hand and suddenly, he was holding Veronica. She saw Sara ready to attack the stranger.
Whoever this guy is, isn't a friend of Sara's.
"Let her go." Fleur commanded, holding her MP16, and pointing it at the stranger.

"Do you honestly believe that your weapon can do anything to me, my beloved?", The Archbishop replied laughing as he tightened his psyching grip on Veronica's neck.
The Archbishop turned away from Fleur and looked as Sara who blew a blast of energy his way, sending him staggering back.

"Beloved?"
The word and stranger's tone ,when he says it, puzzled Fleur. It sounded like he meant it. Like somehow he really knew her.
Then Sara blasted a wave of energy to the stranger. Despite getting him, his grip around Veronica's throat stayed firm. Fleur pointed the weapon to the stranger and she pulled the trigger, careful not to hit Veronica in the process.

The shot hit the Archbishop on the shoulder. He didn't allow himself to heal naturally, he just took the pain... He couldn't believe Fleur would do such a thing, but it was alright... He was going to remember this.
The Archbishop loosened his grip on Veronica as he stopped the wave of energy and shoved it back to Sara, sending her crashing hard against the brick wall behind her.
Veronica slowly crawled her way to Sara and held her in her arms.

Fleur kept firing as she joined Mother and daughter on the other side.
"We better make a run for it." She suggested, still firing at the stranger. "I don't think he's the type who would just drop dead and such."

Sara pulled Veronica up and held her as the three made a run for the church.

Fleur lagged a few steps behind Sara and Veronica. She would often look behind her to check if the stranger's following them.
"Sara who is he?"

The future version of Viscum dropped from a building above the others, landing swiftly in front of Veronica, Fleur and Sara. He faced the Archbishop head on, ready to fight if he needed to. Without looking behind him Viscum spoke quickly and urgently.
"Get them out of here now Sara, and get them back to where they belong before everything is ruined!"

Rosa exited the portal moments after Gaudi, and swiftly moved beside him. She wasn't going to let him out of her sight at a time like this, she wasn't stupid after all, and she knew that Gaudi wasn't someone she could trust. She turned her head, waiting for Chrystabelle to appear.

Lucifer missed Selice again, but his brimstone blade went right for her throat, he was focused on ending the angel’s life. “Selice…” He said mockingly
“I can do a lot of things at this moment in time Johnny, if you’d like I can make a portal that can take you to the church… but I’m warning you, it is not a pretty sight…” Mr. Psycho said. The white light shined brightly.
