Selice smiled softly, and began to gently comb out Asri's long hair, careful not to pull on any of the small tangles that had formed. She started to hum softly as she worked.

Asri remained silent, closing his eyes, as Selice combed his hair. It felt nice really; she was doing a pretty good job of making it as painless as possible.
"Thanks Selice," said Asri happily.
At that moment, winds swirled aroung them, messing up Asri's hair all over again. Kiel appeared in the room, happily carrying Selice's stuff. It chuckled as it lifted up the bags.
Asri's eyes snapped open in time to see Kiel's usual cheerful grin. It vaguely looked like Mr. Psycho's grin, except less insane and more calculating, with a dash of nonchalent cheerfulness mixed in.
"I'm back!"
"K-Kiel?!"
Kiel laughed and ruffled Asri's hair.
"Awww, so cute, the lovebirds are having a hair-brushing party!"
A pair of scissors materialized in Kiel's hands.
"Can I join in?"
Asri paled. He leaned away from Kiel, eyes widening.
"NO!"

"your welcome asri" she said with a soft smile as she continued to work out his hair. Sadly her efforts went to waste as Kiel appeared before them, his winds messing up all of her hard work. A silent sigh escaped her lips as she went back to work on the long tangled locks.
"Welcome back and Thank you for breakfast." she said softly, her eyes never leaving the back of Asri's head. "Relax Asri, I don't want to hurt you" she said softly as he tensed, and shrank away from the scissors in Kiel's hands, she paused her combing to save him the pain of jerking away from the snarls, waiting patiently for Kiel to dismiss the scissors and allow Asri to calm down.

Kiel kaughed as it leaned against the wall, gazing curiously at the the angels.
"Awww, you're sweetness is melting this old, aged heart of mine," said Kiel sarcastically, "Mind if I take over?"
"NO!"
Kiel chuckled, toying with the possibilities. It stood there in silent for a moment, as it thought. Once ready, it left Selice's stuff against the wall and headed off towards Asri's room.
"Once you're done, I have a present for you, Asri," it said, grinning, "just you wait..."
Asri paled.
"NO! If it's... Selice... I..."

"asri, is something wrong?" Selice asked softly, taking note of the other Angel's distress. She had finished combing out his hair and had carefully worked the long locks into a fine braid, tied at the end with a silver tie. "Done" she said with a pleased smile.

Asri looked at Selice, his face even paler. He shuddered upon hearing Kiel's cheerful laugh echo across the nearby area.
"Kiel wants to play dress up. I gotta leave the hospital before it-"
"Oh no you don't! I just got a gorgeous new outfit made especially for you!" yelled Kiel, "now get in here and try it on before I cut your hair again! I wanted to surprise your new love interest, so I thought I might as well get some souvenirs..."
Asri stood and sighed. He looked at Selice sadly, shaking his head. He had no choice. Kiel knew what it was talking about all too well.
"Thanks Selice, you did a good job," he said, "I appreciate it. Now, I'm afraid I have to listen to Kiel.."

Selice arched her eyebrow inquisitively. "What does he plan on doing?" she asked, a worried look on her face.

Asri smiled sadly at her.
"You'll find out soon enough."
He stood, and proceeded towards the bedroom, his face turning red with embarrassment.

Selice sat down on the chair Asri had previously occupied, resting her elbows on her knees and her chin in her hands, waiting for Asri to return and wondering what could possibly be so terrible.

"About damn time you decided to show up," said Kiel cheerfully as it sat on the bed.
Asri looked at Kiel, sighing. However much it frustrated him to be at the mercy of its whims, he had accepted it a long time ago. Wherever he went, as soon as people found out his identity as the Angel of Plagues, they immediately chased him away. They feared that his wrath would wipe out their town. In a way, they were right... Asri was an abomination... he was an angel! Angels were supposed to save people... that was why he returned to his hometown... Yet... all it resulted was him being betrayed by his brother and force to perpetuate the same suffering he seeked to fight. It's so cruel, thought Asri, I wish my business with Diorel is over as soon as possible. I wish I could have one night's good night sleep.
"You know that I have an obligation to serve your interests," he said, tears coming to his eyes, "you and Syl are the only family I have left."
Kiel got up and touched his face gently. Asri was being a crybaby as always. Hmm... lovely... Even if it didn't show well on its face, seeing Asri cry greatly saddened Kiel. It had adopted him into their family by Syl's request, and it had chosen well. A broken, tormented man, with no where to go and no refuge to speak of... Without Kiel, Asri would have went on a path of destruction he could not stop. He would have destroyed any town he entered, leaving only a plague-striken wasteland wasteland behind him.
"Asri, don't cry..."
Without warning, Kiel gentely kissed him on the lips, holding tightly to his hands. Asri's eyes widened, as he struggled to break free. Kiel let him go after a few moments, smiling. Asri tumbled to the ground, panting, speechless. His face was turning red. Whether it was in embarrassment or being Kiel was aesthetically pleasing, it was hard to tell. Asri was easily embarrassed because of his concern with appearances.
"I'm not conventional, I know," said Kiel, "I lost the rest of those morals the day No Name betrayed us and destroyed Syl. Since then I swore that I'd protect you no matter what, to prevent the same thing from happening again. I love you, Asri, don't forget that."
It offered its hand to Asri for him to get up. Asri took it.
"Now, let's try on that dress," said Kiel, smiling sweetly.
Asri remained silent, still in shock. He touched his lips, looking at Kiel, trying to understand what was going on in Kiel's head. He knew that Kiel was messed up by human standards, seeing love between siblings and family the purest love there was... to the point where... Asri sighed.
"Fine. I'll try on the dress."
"Good; I picked the right size so you wouldn't feel to uncomfortable."
Kiel smiled as it fetched the dress from the closet and set it on the bed as Asri took off his bathrobe.
***** "SELICE!" yelled Asri, still red with embarassment. "This is what Kiel has me do sometimes..."
He walked towards the kitchen, followed by Kiel, wearing makeup and a long elegant black dress that trailed across the floor. It was simple, yet if one looked closer, it was decorated with interlocking patterns sewn into the dress. Asri's chest and neck were covered, but his shoulders and arms were bare. He was quite thin, so the dress fit him better than Kiel would have expected.
"You look gorgeous, Asri," it laughed, "I could have mistaken you for a woman."
"Shut it Kiel," said Asri, scowling. "You do realize how embarrassing this is to do it in front of Selice of all people! I'm a man! Why the hell do you like forcing me in these things?!"
Kiel laughed and put a hand on his shoulder.
"Because you're beautiful. Isn't that why you spend so much time looking into the mirror?"
Asri fell silent.

Selice had seen many strange things in her many years as an angel, but honestly, this wasn't all that strange (Which in it's self was strange). At first she just sat there, unable to take her eyes from Asri and the dress and the makeup.... but she smiled, after all who was she to judge, and she had to admit, it did suit him well. "You do look lovely Asri" she said with a warm and honest smile.

Asri blushed bright red with Selice's compliment. He was speechless, wide-eyed. He didn't believe what he was hearing... Men really weren't supposed to dress this way.
Kiel affectionately patted Asri on the back.
"Wow," it said, "you just shell shocked him. Most of his girlfriends usually laugh when they see him like this! That said, I'm glad you appreciate my taste in fashion!"

... gi-Girlfriend? A pale rosy color crawled over Selice's face as Kiel said the word. The angel fought it off quickly, pretending to cough so she could hide behind her hand whilst forcing the crimson color off of her normally pale face. With her blush thwarted, Selice returned her gaze to Asri and Kiel. "Your taste is wonderful, but I must say, as lovely as Asri is in that dress, I like him a bit better in pants" she said honestly, "Or perhaps I just haven't seen him in the right dress" she said with a quiet laugh.

Kiel laughed merrily.
"Thank you, Selice," it said, "now how about posing for a picture? I've been collecting pictures of Asri in various cloiothing sets for hundreds of years. Why not add to it?"
It pulled out a camera, smiling. The camera was something it had swiped from Animus's stores and which it currently used to photograph Asri whenever possible.
Asri sighed.
"After this, I'm changing into pants and taking my medication," he muttered.
"Fine with me," said Kiel, grinning, "As long as I can add to my collection, I'm happy!"

Selice smiled. She looked down at her own outfit and laughed to herself. "I you'll excuse me for a few moments, I'm going to get changed myself" she said with a soft smile. She took her bag and began to walk back down the hall to the Small room she had slept in.
