Soloman responded quickly, a long, thin bone protruding from his arm. It shot towards the scythe, and right before getting hit, retracted halfway and launched for the chain, pinning it to the rooftop.
He then ran, retracting his bone when he was far enough away. He took a mad dive into one of the nearby buildings, slamming through a window and landing in a room filled with office cubicles. He waited, watching Arqus from his vantage point.

Arqus could hear Bremmen's laughter echoing inside his head when the stranger pinned his weapon on the rooftop.
"Bones." Bremmen muttered inbetween laughter. "He really reckon he can stand a chance against a being who can bend and summon diamonds."
The demon laughed again. Arqus pulled the chain and freed his weapon. The scythe swirled back at him and he caught it with his right hand. He saw the man dive into the nearby building. Arqus landed on the rooftop gracefully, changing back to his human form. His glittering diamond wings though, folded behind him and his human hand held his diamond scythe.
"Who are you? And what have you done to Trace?" He shouted, loud enough so that the stranger would hear him.

Soloman let a quiet laugh leave his lips as the questions were asked. "Trace exploded," he said simply, shrugging as he pointed out the obvious. "Who am I?" he then said, asking himself the rhetorical question.
"You can call me Soloman. Soloman Vendré," he finally answered. His right arm transformed into a bone blade as he stood there, waiting patiently.

"GREAT!" The demon uttered with sarcasm in his tone. "Now he thinks you're an idiot."
Arqus ignored the voice inside his head. He figured, maybe they don't need to fight, maybe he could talk it over with this man who calls himself Soloman.
"He wants to take over Animus!" Bremmen yelled to his host. "He wants to rule it! And we should not let him!"
Arqus looked down on his companions on the ground, wondering if they're doing anything at all while he distracts Soloman.

Soloman gave a two finger wave, flipping backward once and falling from the building. He landed in the rubble of one of the towers, concealing himself as he searched quickly for the item. When he found it, he opened his brief case, shoving it inside. He looked up to see if anyone was following him. The man seemed much calmer than he had been when he destroyed the scrapers. It was bizarre.

Arqus' eyes followed Soloman as he tried jumping from one spot to the next. He stepped closer to the ledge of the rooftop's to get a better a view of the stranger. Soloman was hiding from one of the tower's ruins.
"I wonder what he's doing?" He mumbled to himself with furrowed eyebrows.
"He's probably going to make something explode again. Stop him!" Bremmen commanded Arqus his voice pissed and frustrated. "I want him dead! Stop him!"
The wind blew his hair to one side as he stood there, while his beautiful blue eyes were fixed on Soloman below.

Veronica followed the stairway to an open ledge. Whoever he was, he sure made quite an entrance they seemed to be late for. Veronica pressed her hands against her womb again and looked back, waiting for the rest of the group. Perhaps they have an idea.

Johnny watched from the ground, wondering what he could do get up there and talk some sense into the two.

Soloman gripped the briefcase, his knuckles turning white. He did not want to drop this precious cargo. He jumped out of the wreckage, dashing rapidly away from the skyscraper...
Or at least, that appeared to be his intention. He rounded a few corners, hiding under an overhang so he could not be seen from overhead. He fell to one knee, plotting how he could take out both the group in his base and the group near the bomb site.

Although Arqus couldnt see Soloman from where he stood, he could hear his breathing and his footsteps. He could heart the way the stranger's heart was pumping faster, as if excited or scared or something.
"He's planning his next move." Bremmen told Arqus. "And from the sound of it, he's anxious to do something."
Arqus had his ears tuned in to stranger. He gripped his diamond scythe harder, ready to spread his diamond wings and swoop down to decapitate Solomon if necessary.

As the fight between Arqus and Soloman continued Viscum had quickly moved into cover. He wasn't as skilled in long distance combat as his siblings and preferred to fight up close. Viscum had gained a hold of Soloman's aura and was tracking him as he moved. Suddenly his aura darted away, and hid under what Viscum believed to be some kind of cover. Moving out of his cover Viscum shouted towards Arqus.
"He's planning his next move Arqus, he's got nothing offensively he can do. Strike now!"

Rosa nodded at Asri's words in full agreement of his assessment of Karashi. Hopefully now she would remain sedated and would not hinder their current task. Rosa knew what Animus was capable of and why it did the things it did and she knew that if there was any sign of weakness amongst them then they wouldn't stand a chance.
"We'll need to make sure that she doesn't cause us any problems." Rosa said thoughtfully. "Especially in her state, I mean how is a pregnant woman meant to help us when she can't even help herself."

Mazrin followed Veronica up the stairs, his magic still reaching out into the building to search for anything that could be of use to them. Whatever figure they had followed in here was now long gone, and he could sense from the nearby area that he wasn't even in sight at this very moment.
"He's gone," Maz stated to Veronica. "But he's going to be back, nobody just leaves their main base of operations."

Veronica looked at Maz and said, "I assume the most we can do is wait. What do you think?".
Veronica reached for her two-way radio and called Johnny. "I'm in the Admiral Hotel, I'm somewhere high up, but bellow the penthouse, any chance you can come over... Right now?".
<***>
Johnny was practically alone and powerless; sick of watching the little air show that paraded above him. Gripping his walkie-talkie, Johnny replied, "Yeah, I'm on my way."
Several minutes had passed by the time Johnny reached the hotel. Looking up, he could barely make the sight of Veronica standing on the balcony with the stranger he had seen with Viscum earlier. Johnny counted the levels and rushed quickly inside.

((I am Just going to jump in somewhere. Don’t mind my sudden walk in. =3 ))
Zachery had been wandering around the city for hours. He only found people that seemed like zombies. They didn’t reply to him, talk, or even acknowledge he was there. They were unresponsive to anything he would do to get their attention. Only to continue to walk on where they were going. As if it were a daily routine. The city was fairly large, buildings poorly maintained as others were crumpled and board up. Though some were greater than others, fairly kept and Mindless living inside them. The lawns of the houses on the streets were all wild and their plants skewed over their lawn. Messes of branches and leaves from the plants. It was eerie how this place was.
He had been walking strait down the same street for around forty minutes now. He hadn’t found anyone with the brain capacity to even acknowledge his presence, let alone talk to him. The streets and sidewalks were cracked, weeds sprouting from them and trying to live as all else here. Zachery had taken note of all the buildings and street names, memorizing them easily. He paused at a cross road. The traffic light flickered red. Obviously not working properly. Its red glow penetrated the black painted steel it was hollowed within. The other two lights not flickering on and off as the other did. It hung from a steel pole. It was just barely hanging onto the ground, tipped slightly as wires held into the underneath hole that completed the light’s circuitry. The snapped wires must have been the cause of the flickering.
The sigh on the sidewalk pointed in different directions. It was painted green and had lines carved vertically into it. The first name caught his attention. Admiral Hotel. Perhaps he could find someone not from here with the intelligence to give him some answers. He had searched with no luck. Not finding anything useful other than a knife he found laying around. But it was not something he would use since he already had a weapon. Although no one seemed very much threatening around here.
He walked down the middle of his street. His posture laid back with his arms behind his hand. Leisurely walking as if he could stay here for all eternity without a care in the world. Though he worried of his Brother. He was much to immature to survive here. The little munchkin would need as much help as possible to last even one day here. If he even was here. He had been walking in the direction given, but managed to find himself somewhere other than a motel. The place was more destroyed than any other place he had seen so far. Skyscrapers were laying in messes and clumps on the ground. The windows completely shattered as trash was laying everywhere. Papers, technology, pens, desks. It was an utter mess.
Zachery walked past one of the vertical buildings that had fallen near the street. The inside was blackened, abandoned and a hazard. Glass was shattered all around, chunks of buildings and concrete blocked paths to other streets. Only leaving rigid opening for him to walk through. Everything felt abandoned and eerie in this city. Nothing seemed right either. He walked past what used to be an alleyway, a large building crashing into the others, making somewhat of a hollowed out covering for any stray animals if they had survived the massacre here, or wandered here. But it was more an overhang than much else. He gave no notice to it. Everything was hollow and empty. No one was responsive to him and he truthfully didn’t mind. As long as he could survive, he was happy. Then world could nuke itself and he would be perfectly fine with it. His attitude was very strange. It was either, “Let the world F**k itself”, or “Who the hell cares, just spill it and let it be done.” But overall he wasn’t one to think much of anything. He was a guy with simplistic needs of a few answers. And he could survive severely easy.
His race never really depended on food or water. They adapted to only eating small amounts of food for months, and live. Though some chose to be more normal and ate on a regular basis, as others strayed from food as much as possible. Zachery was neither of these. He ate when he had to need to, and drank liquids on a daily basis. And for now, he was simply looking for a few answers. Though he would not find any where he was now. An abandoned skyscraper graveyard, or so it seemed that way. There were a few of standing office buildings. But they had long since been left to rot with the others.
Zachery stopped as he was sure he heard the sound of wings or something similar in the distance. He saw a flash of something glinting off of the sun. Something solid and hard. It was a type of gem of diamond. But it disappeared as soon as it appeared. Leaving Zachery to wonder. Unknowingly he was at the Bomb Site. Walking through the ruins of Skyscrapers as he evaded the people there. Though on accident. He had even passed the one known as Solomon without much of a glimpse to where he was hiding. Only because he thought this place was as empty as all the other areas. With only but the walking dead as inhabitants.

Soloman heard a beep come through his earpiece, and a sadistic grin grew on his face. He dashed out from under the overhang, bounding up the wall and flipping back so he landed behind Arqus. Before he could react, he dashed between his legs, and was off, heading back towards the hotel with briefcase in hand. He didn't have time to be fighting this fool as his base of operations was being penetrated by a team of residents. With the signal he had just received, there wasn't any way they could stand up against their combined assault.

Zachery passed by the bomb site, not running into anyone even though he was sure he was something earlier in the sky. He was now well on his way to the hotel the sign had pointed too. The streets were fairly empty, some buildings in ruin as others stood perfectly well with the occasional maintenance problems. The city seemed fairly quiet, the skies peaceful with few clouds lingering, and the winds were calm. He had his hands in his pockets, laid back with his surroundings as he walked. There seemed not a threat just yet. But this city was abnormal. He had been pulled into this city during an horrible even where his home was. And it was strange how his memories were so scrambled. It was like someone had cut out large jagged chunks from his memory.
He came to a stop at the large building. There was a sign hanging over the door, ‘Admiral Hotel’. It was the name he had seen earlier. But the sign that pointed here looked like a make shift hand made sign. So someone must have been smart enough to make it. He was sure the Mindless couldn’t have done it.
Zachery looked up at the levels, it was fairly tall for an average hotel. He walked inside, the door already open. The main lobby was abandoned like much everything else in this city. Or most of it he had seen. He walked behind the desk casually and looked through some of the files. Financial papers….. Guest logs… and some strange other files that made no sense. He opened the drawer, poking through the items. A small hand held razor that people used for opening boxes, but nothing else lethal. He put it in his pocket just in case he would need it later.
Being done with the lobby desk, he walked upstairs, looking through already open doors as he walked down a few of the halls. Not opening any of the closed ones, not bothering with the fact. Though his strange lack of caring could cost him a lot later on. This didn’t bug him. When the time came he would then think it over. Though for now he has one simple goal. Find another being with intelligence, then ask them a few questions. Easy enough. Except the fact that everyone here seemed to be either hidden or avoiding him, or just not there. Zachery ignored his thoughts, walking upstairs to the higher levels of the hotel. But he stopped at the fourth one. Staring at the smashed doors and blood….
No one was there. So the person, or people, who were there had clearly moved on higher into the hotel or left. But the marking seemed fresh. Zachery walked into the massacered room and couldn't take his eyes off the scene. He stood in the doorway, staring at all the blood and the name written on the wall.

"He's planning his next move Arqus, he's got nothing offensively he can do. Strike now!"
Arqus heard Viscum, but hesitated. He saw Johnny talking to his walkie talkie and then fleeing, bound somewhere, leaving him and Viscum to face Soloman. Suddenly he felt the stranger moving, he was quick and was able to run off, heading towards the same direction as Johnny.
"Follow him!" Bremmen cheered.
Arqus jumped from the building. He spread and flapped his diamond wings and once he gained altitude he followed Soloman. From up in the Animus sky he could see the bastard jumping from building to building. He could fly lower and take him down, but opted to observe the stranger high in the air.
