Zachery nodded, "Good enough." He said. Not needing any of the real detailed explanation within the situation right now. She gave the simplistic answers he wanted, that’s all he needed to know. Though he could come across as cold and cruel to others, he was actually fairly nice in his own manner and way of showing it. Like if he had too choose between a friend or seven people dying in a fire, he’d choose his friend first without a thought, then save the people if it were possible. If not… well, then it was just not their lucky day. “So, you’ve got a demon. All we have to do it weed it out and then kill it.” Zachery said, making it seem more simple than it actually was. But he knew that. He was just stating the basic plan, but not how they were going to weed this Black Goat out. He was simplistic, too simple for words. Most of the time you could figure out the cause of his actions without much of a riddle, but his emotions were at stand still. That was the only puzzle piece which was hard to place. As if they had left completely.
Zachery walked out to the balcony and out to the city once more. A strange one it was. And even stranger was he. A small amused smile quirked the corner of his lips. It was a very tiny soft one, but not one of a complete evil psychopath. “What an interesting situation I’ve been pulled into. I wonder if I might have the pleasure to bump into my friends. If they ever get here, that is.” He said to himself practically. But he didn’t whisper it or anything. It was his usually tone of voice, not caring if they overheard him.

"Wait...", Veronica muttered out as she followed Zachary to the balcony. "There's something I left out. The Black Goat is gone, we rid the city of his presence quite awhile ago. I apologize for the slip, I have a lot on my mind."

Zachery looked back at her, “Oh… then what’s wrong?” He asked. He could easily sense, through her voice, that there was something else. Even if it wasn’t city related, she seemed pestered by something other than the city itself. “If you got rid of the demon, shouldn’t you be happy?” Zachery’s white and silvery eyes watching her. His unemotional face. It was like he was staring directly into your soul. It was a look that would get most people to get terribly squeamish and tell him almost anything. Even though it was probably a cold and rude way to get an answer, he wanted to know so he could probably make her feel better. He was a cold shell of steel, but he was still nice in his own complicated way. Which most people couldn’t understand.

Veronica leaned against the railings of the balcony and folded her arms, replying, "Nothing. Peace never stays long in this city, and when it comes, its the most unpleasant thing. I am always looking over my shoulder for the next thing to come for us. The most you can do with this city is find yourself.".
Veronica sighed deeply as she pressed her hands on her womb.
Turning her head towards the Animus City skyline, she stared deep into the city as she tried to clear her mind of the impending danger she sensed and all the innocent people who were slaughtered in the hospital... Looking deep into the city's skies, her eyes popped open. "Johnny...", she hurriedly called out.
"Roth, what's wrong?", Johnny asked as he approached her.
"Look.", Veronica replied as she stared at the sight of a man jumping from building to building, it appeared as if he was headed right for them, and Arqus, flying swiftly behind him in pursuit.

Viscum saw Arqus fly after Soloman and quickly realized he wouldn't be able to keep up to them by taking flight since his magic so instead stayed to the ground, using walls and objects to ensure he took the quickest route after them, his enhanced agility easily allowing him to keep pace after the pair. He quickly sensed the aura's of others, including Maz's so knew where Soloman was heading to. It was time to create a plan of attack.

Rosa had followed Asri out of his room but had stopped before he met Syl, taking a quick detour into one of the hospital supply rooms. Rosa spent a few seconds poking around the room before picking up several items and saying a small spell, calling forth a small portal that she dropped the items into, knowing that they would teleport directly into the shoulder bag Maz was in possession of. She didn't like being underhanded and just taking them but she understood it was necessary. Rosa knew how dangerous things could be in Animus so to have the correct supplies were crucial. Rosa left the room and followed the sound of Asri and Syl's voice, immediately noticing Chrystabelle was there as well.
"Hey Chrys, good to see you again," Rosa said cheerfully as she walked up to them.

Syl gasped as it saw Rosa approach, after it grabbed .
"ROSA!" it cried out in glee. "you took an awful long time with Asri... was it fun?"
It hugged Asri very very tighly, to the point where he was obviously suffocating.
"Was he nice to you?!" asked Syl, with an innocently eager and excited expression on his face. "Wow! You two must be the bestest of friends now! That's great! Right, Asri?"
Asri was too busy trying to survive Syl's iron grasp to comment. He was busy counting down the seconds it would take him to choke and faint from oxygen deprivation. While Asri wasn't as easy to kill as he looked, due to the fanatical nature of the demons inside of him (who were literally hell-bent on keeping him alive), that didn't spare him from pain.
Unfazed, and obviously oblivious to Asri's plight, Syl put one of the lollipops in its mouth and offered another to Rosa.
"Want one Rosa? They taste funny, like human products, but they have lots of sugar, so I suppose it's okay."
Asri wanted nothing more than to take that lollipop out of Syl'sd mouth and throw it in the trash. Such sweets didn't deserve to be consumed by his ward.

Soloman landed on the balcony, zipping past both Veronica, the new comer, and Johnny. He continued to fly out of the room and up the stairs, papers flying as he did.
It wasn't long before he stopped in front of a huge painting, easily the size of the wall. He kicked it in with ease, and punched in an eight digit code when he found the keypad.
The door slowly slid open, and in a completely cliche fashion, robot minions spewed forth.
Soloman let a light chuckle escape his lips as he realized just how cliche this move was.

Despite seeing him coming miles away, it was still a surprise for Johnny and Veronica when he suddenly landed on the balcony and ran up the stairs. Veronica could have sworn that their movements were synchronized: first they looked at him, the stranger, land there and then run away, and then almost instantly, Johnny and Veronica looked at each other, before turning forward and running after him.
They followed him down to fin him surrounded by an army of robots.
Johnny drew out his hand gun as Veronica forced herself to hum another one of her incantations.
Veronica sighed and pressed herself forward, she was ready for anything.

The robots simply stopped. No movement, no sounds, they just stopped, staring at Johnny and Veronica. Soloman just shrugged from behind his newly-amassed army, waiting for Veronica and Johnny to make the first move.
The robots were humanoid, standing 7 feet tall with a shiny finish. All of them held some form of rifle in their arms, but they had a melee weapon of some sort on their hips as well, if it did come to that. All in all, it was indeed strange that he had managed to churn this all out in a month.

Johnny motioned forward with a shot off his .50, ripping right through one of the robots. The robots motioned, charging, before them. Veronica's eyes dilated as she opened her arms and opened two adjoining portals, sucking up two of robots into shreds.
Veronica grit her teeth as she fought to keep the portals open. The robots were too heavy for her and hold off alone, and with Johnny, they were as good as cornered. "Maz, Bruce, Psycho, Lain... Help us!", Veronica calmly called in a voice strong enough to reach the others.

Bruce heard Veronica's cry for help, he saw her breaking more than a sweat trying to keep a portal of some sort open while being attacked by robots. This place is ridiculous.. Thought Bruce. Rushing in fists and teeth bared roaring at the top of his lungs he landed a punch straight into the head of the first robot, sending it to the ground. Bruce took a moment to glance out of the corner of his eye to look down on his knuckles which have gone bright red and split in small parts. Regardless Bruce carried on at the robots, they had seen him now and started firing their guns riddling Bruce's torso, shaking his body like a dropped puppet he screamed out loud before falling to his knees. Coughing blood he feels the strength to carry on charging forwards laughing triumphantly.

Lain heard Veronica’s cry for help and instantly ran to her side. That’s when she saw the hoards of robots. 'Switch!’ Suddenly her eyes changed from pale blue to bright green, rushing forward withdrawing her sword. Shoving it into the chest of the first robot she saw she whispered two words and her blade burst into blue flames, exploding the robot. She made her way slowly, dodging the robots weapons elegantly.

"Maz, Bruce, Psycho, Lain... Help us!"
Maz had already charged before Veronica spoke, his hand reaching for the magically enhanced pistol at his side. He fired a shot as he ran, ripping through one of the robot's. Maz focused on two spells simultaneously, one causing a shield of magical energy to form on his left arm and the other creating a magical blade to appear in his hand. He fired another shot, the bullet ripping through a robot's stomache before diving in front of Veronica, slicing through another robot with the blade.
Mazrin may not have been a fan of fighting but when it came down to it, he could be as fierce as any warrior.

"Want one Rosa? They taste funny, like human products, but they have lots of sugar, so I suppose it's okay."
"It's fine Syl, I don't feel like eating candy right now." Rosa said, keeping her cheerful demeanor. "And I think you should be careful with Asri, look's like your stronger than you look." Rosa said with a chuckle as she indicated to Asri struggling in Syl's grasp.
Rosa's expression changed to a more serious one now as her thoughts turned to the others. She had sensed from Viscum that something was happening and she didn't want to be on the sidelines if something happened. She didn't want to risk anyone's lives if she could help them, but then she didn't just want to abandon those in the hospital.

It was the sight of Bruce standing and bleeding from the shots and Maz unexpectedly rushing in before her to cut the robot that had done Veronica in. With the spell taking away what energy she gained back and her child growing with in her, Veronica let go of the spell and in doing so, caused the scraps of whatever was left from the robots she had vanished into the portals, falling hard into the floor.
Johnny kept firing at the robots as he pressed himself forward and pulled Veronica aside. Ducking beneath the crossfire, Johnny withdrew another gun from his jacket and handed it to Veronica.
"You remember how to use these, don't you Roth?".
Veronica couldn't help but smile, but the smile didn't last for long, as robot pressed it hand over Johnny's head and pushed him against the wall, hard. Veronica quickly drew the gun and began firing at the robot, ripping it to shreds... It wasn't quite magic, but it did the trick.

Maz sensed Veronica's sudden loss of magical power, knowing immediately that she had overdone herself despite his warnings. He would have been angry, or at least disappointed, but now was not the time. Maz had learnt long ago that in a fight you focus on the opponent, not on emotions regardless of what was happening around you.
"Behind you!" Maz shouted to Veronica, raising his pistol and firing two shots, each one penetrating the metal skin of a robot poised to fire at his pregnant comrade. "Keep your eyes open, there's too many of them to let your guard down."
As if to confirm his previous statement a robot behind Maz lifted his weapon and fired several shots aimed at his back. Maz moved quickly, lifting his magical shield he managed to block two of the shots while the third ripped through his right leg. Maz took little notice as he fired a shot back of his own, tearing clean through its metallic torso. Blood dripped from the wound in Maz's leg but slowed as his demonic blood kicked in, beginning to heal the wound. It'd hurt like hell for hours but it wouldn't do any permanent damage.
